  Recently REI opened a new location on March 27-28, 2026 at the Gates of Prosper. Prosper, Texas. All of the staff members I spoke to were helpful and friendly. They sell a wide variety of outdoor equipment. Store is accessible to all. Store Hours: Mon - Fri 10am - 9pm Sat 10am - 9pm Sun 11am - 6pm Address: 1081 Gates Parkway Suite 300 Prosper, Texas 75078

  I was excited to go during their grand opening and everyone was super nice. Very pretty location with all the things you usually find at an REI, although I do think this is a smaller location than the one in Plano. We still managed to find what we were looking for and felt lucky to find our size since it was so packed! Love having an REI so close to home!

  I visited REI during their grand opening, and it was a great experience. The store is very well laid out, making it easy to find everything you need. It is fully stocked with a wide range of outdoor gear and clothing. The overall atmosphere feels welcoming and organized. This is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts in the area.
