  I was looking to try on a pair of blundstones and while they didn’t have the color I wanted in my size they helped me figure out my size and informed me of a potential sale starting soon. I asked about the sale at the register and Gavin was so helpful with getting me a membership and telling me how to save the most money on the purchase! I saved over 80 dollars thanks to him! I can’t recommend this location enough, the staff is amazing and incredibly helpful!

  A very thorough place to purchase anything related to outdoor activities. From lighters for camping to electric bikes they have everything wait they are missing something the turtle box speaker they don’t have a turtle box speaker here they have other garbage but turtle box speakers they’re missing. That’s an outdoor thing is the best outdoor speaker it’s like the yeti of speakers aside from that their process of purchasing products is great. It combines Goodwill as in the Goodwill thrift store and the concept of a retail store so essentially the recycling, the products to the same consumers, which I believe is a great strategy for people that outgrow their products and there are still in good condition. Another great example of my Birkenstocks with all their discounts and all from $200 I ended up buying it for $50 only because someone used it. I know it sounds kind of weird like using not using socks at a bowling alley but you just sanitize it and it’s done. It’s all mental so the product is still good and functional is the bottom line and they’re able to put a price on it which is great so that concept I believe takes up to a five star.

  this was my first time ever at a rei store. i recently got into rock climbing and i’ve been very unsure about my shoes. a worker, named traci, came by to help me out multiple times. she was very informational and patient; she explained the membership to us (which we got) and helped us find the correct sizes in multiple products! she was genuinely the best! i get off work late so i was there until closing unfortunately but everyone was so kind and knew what they were talking about. hannah helped out at checkout and told us more things about the membership we didn’t know and she helped us out a ton with the rock climbing shoes questions we have, because, she too is a rock climber! overall an amazing experience and every member of staff we met was so kind and willing to help in every way! thank you rei plano!!!

  The KINDEST staff. Went in looking for running shoes, and Daniel started helping us and he was knowledgeable and patient as I tried a few sizes. He went on break, and we were initially a little bummed to continue our shopping experience with someone else, but Rico stepped in to help and he was equally awesome! It was seamless- both really knew what they were talking about, answered my questions, and are clearly proud of where they work and what they do. We then were checked out by Traci, who was ALSO amazing. Turns out everyone who works there is just the best. It was our first time in any REI store, and we walked out smiling with a new pair of womens Topo Auras and with a membership. We went towards the evening, and it was also shockingly sensory friendly for the size of store it was. It was quiet, there was lots of room, and the lighting was not intense. It overall felt so warm and welcoming. I cannot wait to come back!
