Really disappointed in my visit. I have been a customer for years and things have gone way down hill. No idea what is up Bailey's backside, but he clearly should not be in anything remotely providing customer support. Asked him a total of two questions and he acted like it was a major inconvenience. Guess it's time to find a new gun store. Messing on your phone at this one seems to be more important.

Had gone into the store several times since my move to Texas. Service wasn't bad generally, but it was a nice shop. After speaking with the owner, and a couple guys over a month or so I finally decided to pull the trigger on a Proof Research Conviction 6.5 PRC. I woke up excited and went into the store a bit later. Was "helped" by Bailey. I say helped because he really couldn't have been less glad that I was there. He ignored my through most of my final questions and kept doing something on his phone. Looked like texting. Couldn't, or wouldn't, answer the last few questions I had and there was no one else who wasn't helping a customer or somewhere else in the back. Turned was was an exciting and great day into a miserable one.
After a final question in which Bailey didn't even look up, but gave a flippant question, like I was bothering him and asking stupid things, I had enough and just left. Clearly I was less of a priority than whomever he was texting.
Crazy, because it was the owner, Terry, who turned me on the the Proof Research brand, but I decided to buy somewhere else. I drove over an hour to Xtreme Guns and Ammo in Houston and made my purchase. With the rifle, ammo, case, etc I spent just over $9,500.
I realize that this experience was a snapshot in time, but if you employ people who clearly could care less about the customers, then you won't get my money. Bailey represents the store horribly and it is sad because I thought I had found my local store. Now I will have to drive farther.
