  Pop Athletics is an incredible facility with great ownership and staff. State of the art equipment with top-notch instructors, none of which are better than Coach Joey Schattle. We have 10 years of experience with Joey, from when our son was little and just beginning baseball til now, as a high schooler. He knows baseball, but even more so he knows how to read and encourage kids. He has given our son the tools, skills, and confidence to play baseball, but also a mindset that transcends the game and will help him when life throws a curve ball too. Incredible hitting instructor but just an all around good guy too.

  We’ve had an incredible experience with Coach Joey at POP Athletics! My son looks forward to his baseball lessons every single week. Coach Joey is patient, encouraging, and truly knows how to connect with young players. He breaks down fundamentals in a way that’s easy for kids to understand while still keeping every lesson fun and engaging. We’ve seen so much growth in my son’s hitting, fielding, and overall confidence on the field. More importantly, his love for the game keeps growing thanks to Coach Joey’s positive coaching style. POP Athletics is also a fantastic facility — clean, well-organized, and set up perfectly for focused skill development. It’s such a great environment for young athletes to learn and build confidence. We’re so grateful to have found Coach Joey and POP Athletics. Highly recommend to any family looking for high-quality instruction in a supportive, professional setting!

  Great facility with a great team. My son has been with Coach Joey Schattle for many years. He now plays baseball for Sachse High School and continues to excel in the sport thank you to Coach Joey’s training. He not only has taught him how discipline and hard work pays off but also know just how to help him reset when frustration kicks in. Hands down has made my son the athlete his is today. I couldn’t be more grateful and look forward to what is yet to come under his leadership.

  My son has trained with Coach Leion for sometime. Leion is the best and has helped my son make a lot of improvement. Recently, my son has begun using Pop’s recovery therapies and this has really helped him feel better and progress to the next level.
