- JNJames NugentFeb 20, 20265.0I was recommended to Baker Outdoors by someone at a car dealership in Boerne while getting my truck worked on, who has a college student working there. During a hunting trip to Lubbock with my wife in December 2025 we just happened to spot Baker Outdoors while driving by. While visiting the store we visited with the staff who were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is very clean and laid out very well with a great atmosphere and great selection of firearms, outdoor gear and apparel. As coincidence would have it, my wife would run into the owner on a flight the following month, who remembered our visit and our conversation of our hunts. Baker Outdoors would definitely be my go-to store for my outdoor needs if Lubbock wasn’t so far from Houston. I look forward to stopping by the next time I find myself in Lubbock.
