  Amazing shop, I'm so glad I've found it. They are friendly, fast, competitive, and competent. I love visiting this shop just to see what they have. They have a good selection of high quality parts, tools, nutrition, etc. This week, I had an incident that bent my derailleur hanger really badly. I quickly ordered the hanger from the manufacturer and took my bike in on Monday. The mechanics definitely said it was bad but then gave me a reassuring "but we can fix it". By the time I left the shop, they had already removed the rear wheel. I felt comforted that they seemed genuinely excited to work on a challenge. I brought them the replacement hanger on Thursday and my bike was ready by Friday evening. I was expecting this to take weeks, I got my bike in less than 5 days. When I picked up my bike, he walked me through all the repairs and showed me my bike was shifting smoothly. Lastly, they are very competively priced, I feel what I was charged for the (high quality) work they did was VERY fair. I look forward to coming back (hopefully not for repairs 😂). PS: The coffee shop in the back is a great place to wait while your bike is getting quick service done.

  Well I'm not a professional cyclist or anything like that, in fact I had a 30 year old bike that these guys refreshed and made shift again. My biggest plus, they did not embarrass me. The bikes they sell, I cannot afford for my use. However I bought one online and it had problems. They fixed it quickly and gave me insight on what I needed to do. This is the "local" bike shop. Use them if you can.

  Work crew jumped right on a flat I had, not really a big deal, but after having been in the customer service field for several years, I was impressed with how quickly they responded and left me KNOWING my experience and business was valued. Great job active cycling. I will be back.

  Great place. Very professional service. I have my bike replace the cable this week for the 2026 MS 150 in the weekend. When I came back to pick up my bike. It looks like new. And when I tried it “wow” my old cervelo2 was so smooth. This place is highly recommended…. 2 thumbs up!!!

  I can’t say enough great things about Active Cycling. This is truly a customer-first business where the owners genuinely care more about people than profit—and that’s something you don’t see often anymore. They’re locally owned and operated right here in Katy, and it shows in everything they do. The service is outstanding, the staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, and they always take the time to make sure you’re taken care of. I’ve been going there even before they officially opened, and my experience has been consistently excellent. Whether it’s advice, service, or just a great conversation about cycling, they go above and beyond every time. Great people, great service, and a business that truly cares—could not be happier. Highly recommend! 🚴‍♂️
