- LWLionel van der WaltNov 15, 20255.0I can't recommend Mark Walker at GOLFTEC Frisco enough. I've learned a tremendous amount since I started working with him. He's a friendly, approachable guy, but most importantly, he's a methodical and clear instructor. The real difference-maker is his ability to adapt. He quickly understood my style and that I'm driven for fast results. He's managed to keep me focused on a process that builds weekly, allowing me to see solid progress without the frustration. He's a fantastic coach, and I highly recommend him.
- EAEric “WolfFlow” ArambulaNov 11, 20255.0Liam Todd is the best instructor i just started golfing in Oct 2024 shooting scores between 100-120 and in just 6 months of working with Liam i was able to break 80 twice and consistently shooting in the 80s currently and 8 handicap all thanks to the amazing coaching from Liam i did have a coach before him briefly and we did not vibe well so I can only vouch for Liam but im sure if hes not available and you get someone else just be transparent and tell them you'd like to try a different coach and im sure you'll find someone who you can connect with

I am even more impressed with Coach Liam Todd in how he has helped me transform my golf game over the past several months. I was struggling with a two way miss and inconsistent contact. He has helped me to better understand what a good swing path is and has guided me in becoming a much better golfer. Every lesson I have had with Liam has helped me in the improvement process. After a couple of sessions with Mark he agreed with me and we started from scratch. Best idea I ever had. I have improved so much, I don't even recognize my game anymore... but it sure looks a lot more like what I see on TV than what I was able to do before. The lessons have been very clear and Mark makes it real easy to improve. That makes the game more fun and I am making pars and even birdies(on occasion). I have taken lessons before, but these seem to workout a whole lot better. like I said, best idea I ever had and I owe it all to coach Mark Walker and the group at GOLFTEC!

Built a high-end golf simulator, hit thousands of balls, wore out a few gloves, and developed hands that could sand wood — but guess what? Still didn’t get better. Eventually, I had to admit defeat (and insanity) and booked a lesson at GolfTec. That’s where I met Mark Walker, who’s been playing and teaching golf longer than I’ve been slicing drives. He had me swing three times, looked at the screen, and said, “That’s enough.” 😳 (That’s when you know it’s bad.) Turns out I’d built some world-class bad habits. The cool part is, GolfTec’s system shows you your swing right there on screen and compares it to pros — frame by frame. I just stood there shaking my head, realizing I’d been practicing my mistakes for years. Fast forward five lessons later — I’m a whole new golfer. Last night on my sim I was hitting a 7-iron 184, and on a perfect strike… 203. Effortless. So here’s the truth: YouTube won’t fix your swing. Your buddy at the range won’t fix your swing. But GolfTec and those high-speed cameras? They will. Book the lesson, take the punch to your ego, and thank me later. 😅🏌️♂️

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
