- SCSteve CressFeb 19, 20265.0About six months ago I started lessons with Liam Todd in Frisco. I had never taken a lesson and at 75 I have learned it is never too late. Liam has worked what I am able to do and gave me technics that have gained distance and even more accuracy. My scores are reflecting a much better results in hitting more GIR and up and downs. I am extremely happy with both Liam and GOLFTEC.

He's a friendly, approachable guy, but most importantly, he's a methodical and clear instructor. The real difference-maker is his ability to adapt. He quickly understood my style and that I'm driven for fast results. He's managed to keep me focused on a process that builds weekly, allowing me to see solid progress without the frustration. He's a fantastic coach, and I highly recommend him.
- EAEric “WolfFlow” ArambulaNov 11, 20255.0Liam Todd is the best instructor i just started golfing in Oct 2024 shooting scores between 100-120 and in just 6 months of working with Liam i was able to break 80 twice and consistently shooting in the 80s currently and 8 handicap all thanks to the amazing coaching from Liam i did have a coach before him briefly and we did not vibe well so I can only vouch for Liam but im sure if hes not available and you get someone else just be transparent and tell them you'd like to try a different coach and im sure you'll find someone who you can connect with

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
