I've waited to see what would happen before writing my review and since nothing has/will happen as usual here it is. Let me first say, the manager that is there now is doing the best she can with what she has which is nothing, no help or support. Inspire Communities that owns this RV Park is a joke! When we moved in the manager at the time Tara gave us $160 off our rent because my husband and other workers there are doing the city highway construction job. This was a SIGNED agreement for the ENTIRE time we would be staying there. There are NO AMENITIES, if you want amenities, this is not the place for you, there is a laundry room and that is it but the crazy cat lady in LOT 70, will steal your clothes if you leave them unattended so don't. They are also no grounds keepers or maintenance men, they fired everyone but the manager, but want to raise the rent(we'll get to that in a minute). The only reason we chose this location is because my husband's job was right outside our front door. It was the location more than anything else and the lot sizes are large due it being a former mobile home park. Back to the money. We moved in and paid the $150 deposit and paid the rent every month and on time, which is sent via email and paid through the portal so the discount we received from MAY through DECEMBER was ok and recorded on all statements which Inspire can see, but as soon as JANUARY 2026 came and they raised the rent to $825+utilites all of a sudden the $160 concession that we had a SIGNED agreement for was gone and that agreement mysteriously disappeared, never mind that when we were told of the rent increase the concession was still valid and on the new rent amount letter we received but they forgot about that too. So January comes, no concession, the manager said she'd look into it, she confirmed we were supposed to get the concession, we were told to pay the total rent amount $825+utilites which ended up being a total of $939.56 at that time and it'd be taken off the next months rent, I tried to pay it and the payment portal which is the ONLY WAY to pay was down for DAYS. At this point we've been gone for the holidays and won't be back to try to pay in person so the forced pay through the portal is all we have, so I send a request to Inspire Communities, what do they do, send it right back to the manager who said she can't fix the portal. But in this response as we've already been charged late fees of $70 for the days we could not make a payment due to no fault of our own, those fees according to Inspire were to be refunded, so again, pay the amount and it'll be credited on next months rent, so now we're owed $230. Jan 23rd we get the bill for February $969.75 if you're keeping track, rent is $825. We were told we'd get our refund of $160 concession for Jan, late fees of $70 and February's rent concession $160 on the February statement, that means the rent should have been $579.75. Again, check with the manager at Lakeview who even entered all the credits into the system for us and what does Inspire do, REMOVED THEM ALL and said the previous manager had no authority to give the concession! So from May to December (8 months) it was ok but when you want to charge more money(for an RV park with nothing but a laundry room) it's not and she shouldn't have done it, that should have been realized when we paid the FIRST MONTH'S RENT not 9 months later and when you owe us $390!!! It was at this point we knew we'd never see the money and were paying way too much for nothing so we decided to leave, we gave our notice and left, we've been waiting for our refund from the security deposit since March 1st, it's just $20 but it's still our money, they could at least refund that considering they owe us a total of $410! If you want to get screwed out of your money, pay for no amenities and be harassed by a crazy lady with 15 cats who steals your clothes and lets her cats damage your property, and management does nothing then that's the place for you. If not, find somewhere else to stay!

I was very fortunate for Lakeview to allow my wife and I to be here as we began our journey at this park for full time RV living. We left for many reasons. But the ones that need to be known about are the following: They damaged my RV while maintenance was doing lawn service. Even after I submitted video evidence, they denied it and asked me to go through my insurance. There’s a lady with 26 cats. No I’m not kidding. And will walk around the park and they are all following her and they climb all over your belongings in your property. They said they have a leash policy, but that’s bogus. CONSTRUCTION. Oh my goodness. It’s not the parks fault but constant road closures (and unannounced) will make a 15 min commute to the grocery store into a 40 min one. Management simply needs to go. They say it’s under new management but she’s just as worse as the last one. They don’t answer emails, and there’s NEVER anyone in the office for things that need immediate attention.

Place is ok but noisy sometimes. I had my RV there for a month but hardly stayed in it. They kept my 150 deposit for electricity let also. I never in 19 years of RVing have I even used a 100/month. They kept the entire 150 deposit with no reason why! Watch ur money with them.

Where do I start Ive only been here 5 months and when I moved in I was told that I get money off my rent the 4 month, 7 month & 12 month, well I never got it off on the 4 month I emailed the office and mentioned it and all I got back was I’ll look into!!! That was Tuesday March 3rd I’m still waiting to hear something!!! Cause it was a new thing they were offering if you moved in before December 2025 The rent is way too high , when we don’t have anything ,No pool, no game room, and I’m not sure if there’s others in the park but I’m on a fixed income and it’s hard cause after paying my rent/electric $825 plus electric $905 I’m basically broke I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my meter but electric was $40 $80 $100 And then we have to buy Propane to cook and have hot water $50 every 2 to 3 months depending on usage, and then pay to do laundry $2.00/2.50 a load dryer the same 2.00 Mentioned several times that my water hook up is dripping out side I even sent videos to them and I get back is it coming from your RV, NO it’s not!!! I sent videos showing it’s coming from the water hook up out side!!! They are not on top of things that have to fixed when needed to be!!! So I gave up on telling them about the water hook up dripping water out side!!!!

Long term resident of Lakeview. I encourage anyone thinking about staying here to come drive thru any time day, night, weekend. Most residents are working folk or retired. Other than city noise (to be expected) and industry around it during the weekdays, quiet time is just that. Come see for yourself. Pros- Location. Centrally located to everything with 820, 287, and I20, and the #9 bus is the next street over. Construction for FTW was something to endure outside the gate but we ended up with a nice new sidewalk that will take you a few miles and still being extended. The spaces are large and you can actually enjoy your yard. Pets are welcome. You can have a pet fence. A new, large space is being designated for a dog park. Laundry room has plenty of brand new cashless machines you can use with a very easy app. Really nice! With permission, you can enjoy an outdoor shed for extra storage. Water and trash are included. Trash pickup is Tues. Free wifi. It's a nice place to full time RV and enjoy access to all of DFW outside the gate. The new manager is really involved in upgrading the park for even more convenience for the residents. Cons- don't really have any. Been here for a little over a decade working to retire and no hiccups. Only needed maintenance once and that was an electric meter issue they resolved the same day and it was the electric company not Lakeview. Wish list- an ice vending machine. Come see for yourself. It's an oasis in the midst of a bustling Metroplex and there is quality of life here for full time RVers and those just passing through to stay a while. A side note, the lake area isn't Lakeview property. It needs some attention and resources have been contacted about it. The lake is nice though. Come and tour Lakeview. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
