This time, someone even went to the back to help me find what I needed — which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the person who checked me out wasn’t very friendly. I asked a couple of questions and she seemed annoyed, which made the interaction uncomfortable. It’s not what I’m used to from REI, so it was disappointing. I might think twice before coming back to this location.

The first time we asked to see some boots he basically told us no, come back in a few weeks when we have a sale. Hard to argue the point, no I want to spend more now,but we left and came back 2nd time. This time he told us we don't have any shoes in that size and brought out a pair 2 sizes too big then left to help someone else. We waited for a bit but neither he nor anyone else seemed interested in assisting. We went to Bass Pro and found the same boots for a little less. Nothing against REI itself, if you can walkin and grab what you need, great, just don't expect a totally positive experience if you need employee assistance at this location.
