- JBJustin BakerSep 10, 20255.0The Cypress Golftec location is a great place to learn to play golf or to learn how to improve your existing golf game. Cameron coaches me and my two sons who are 8 and 14. He is able to communicate the required improvements across those widely varying age groups and abilities/limitations with ease. The technology is really helpful and being able to review the lessons online or on the app reinforces the coaching points discussed in the lesson and shows you drills to do at home that allow you to improve outside of the facility. Everyone there is very friendly, and the facility is top notch. I was initially interested in the concept for the technology, but Cameron's ability to leverage the technology to enhance the coaching really makes it worth the time and money. We have been going there for about three months and seen significant improvement - it has been a worthwhile investment for us.

Joe Mishler (my coach) is very customer friendly and at the same time he has told me the changes I need to hit better shots! I would recommend Golf Tec to anyone looking to improve their golf game as well as their enjoyment of the game.

The evaluation went very well although it only lasted 45 minutes because the last 15 minutes was spent trying to sell me on buying packages for 2600 or 3200 dollars going forward. I tried to buy another evaluation session for the same advertised 95.00 for an hour for my irons. I scheduled it online for a set time. I get a call from the manager stating I only get one evaluation for the holiday special price. There was no such policy statement anywhere at the time or as of this review. GolfTec cancelled my subsequent lesson. It left a bad taste in my mouth. They should have at least honored my 2nd reservation.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
