Sonya and Karen made our trip to the river a dream! We booked their shuttle service (they will pick up groups of 10+ as long as they are within 15 miles of their location and drop back off) which was ideal to not have to worry about getting ubers or parking. The bus ride their put the vibes at an all time high and allowed us to fill out paperwork before arriving at the tube location. The pricing was great, in my opinion, and fully worth it. Sonya was incredibly helpful and responsive while booking our trip. Karen put up with our group as our bus driver and was so much fun! The food truck they had on our first day tubing was AMAZING. We had so much fun the first day that Sonya and Karen worked with us so that we could schedule with them last minute to come back again the next day via shuttle service. All in all great time!
Not sure how anyone could have a bad time or blame river conditions on Shanty but that's just my opinion.
Bonus : Elvis tubed there!

Shanty Tubes is a classic, no-frills spot for river floating, ideal for first-timers. It’s rugged but gets you from point A to B with a tube and a ride. Our group of 20 was well accommodated; they aired up our personal tubes for free, showing great customer service. With over 15 people, we got a $4 discount, making it $21 per person (same price for personal or their tubes) and two free beer tubes. They also sell beer, though we didn’t need it. Some of us stayed at Camp Fimfo and floated the Horseshoe in under two hours with our own tubes, skipping the return hassle. Note: they require your keys as liability to ensure gear return. Solid experience!
Our services include river tubing and kayak rentals. We also provide a relaxing tiki bar for refreshments, cozy cabin rentals suitable for two people, and scenic camping sites for overnight stays.
