- JGJonah GrierFeb 28, 20265.0I’ve been a member with the Hudson Bend Nautical location for just over 10 months now, and I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving to Austin. The boats are always in excellent condition — clean, reliable, and ready to go. On top of that, they provide all toys you could ever want. Additionally, the reservation process is straightforward and easy to use, which makes planning lake days stress-free. What really stands out, though, is the staff. Everyone at Hudson Bend is friendly, helpful, and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. One thing that really stressed me out was docking. Before you're able to take any boats out someone from the club will take you out for a bit to practice. You'll go over proper throttle techniques, maneuvering, docking, even setting up a good wake surf wave! If you’re considering joining a boat club in Austin, I can’t recommend Hudson Bend Nautical enough. It’s been an awesome experience all around.

The facility is top-notch, the boats look fantastic, and the staff I met were incredibly friendly and helpful. What's especially great for those of us coming from the Westlake area is how quick and easy it is to get here - it was literally only a 30-minute drive! This new spot opens up a whole new section of Lake Travis to enjoy without a long trek. Highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for a hassle-free way to get out on the water!
