It is/was my first time taking lessons after 30 years of mediocre golf and he was able to help me shape my swing to include the important aspects that allow a golfer to strike the ball consistently. Being able to see your swing on camera and review each one in sow motion definitely helps. My package included iron and wood fittings and I have benefited from those as well

Coach Kevin has been awesome, our 8 year old daughter looks forward to each lesson and is now requesting more lessons! The atmosphere is clean, up to date and the rest of the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Great for the whole family to learn and practice.
- RFReed FSep 29, 20252.0I got fitted as a lefty and due to the fitter ordering the clubs incorrectly I was shipped right handed clubs. Now I have to wait for them to be returned and new ones made and shipped. I reccomend getting fitted here and then ordering the clubs for yourself with the specs you got configured for. It will be cheaper and faster.
- DWDennis WebsterAug 11, 20255.0GolfTec Allen Texas....I have been working with Doug Smith to get my game back on track after back surgery. We have been working together for about a month now. I had been scoring in the mid to upper 90's since my back surgery(Oct 2024). Last week, I shot 90 at Lost Pines Resort the first time I played it, the second time I played it, I shot 86 including 5 pars in a row, holes 14 through 18and a birdie on #12. Using the video screen and the statistics to gage my progress has definitely helped. But it was Doug getting me into position to hit better shots, that truly made the difference. I am continuing on my journey, so far so good.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
