- SDSebastian DykasSep 3, 20255.0I have had a lot of lessons in my golfing journey. Eric Autio from GolfTEC here is one of, if not the best I’ve had. In the short time I’ve had him teaching me, I’ve lowered my ball flight, and gained a full club length in distance, and tightened my dispersion. His understanding of the golf swing and sequence is incredible, and the way I understand the golf swing is so different now. The facility is nice and clean. Good technology and everyone is friendly. Booking lessons is easy. I would highly recommend anyone in the Memphis area to contact Eric. He has helped so much in understanding the swing and in improving. I’m playing my best golf ever right now.

My instructor, Ray Sharp, was personable and knowledgeable. We worked on my driver swing and I saw almost immediate results. I gained at least 20 yards. I would recommend Golftec and Ray Sharp.

Eric very quickly identified the condition of my current clubs, and after a few swings, quickly identified what it was doing to my game. He built me some clubs based on what I wanted and threw in a couple of his own good suggestions as well. In the end, I was satisfied we figured out the correct iron setup for my current game.

I called the office (no response) and then called the national line who told me they’d reach out to the manager and call me back. The manager finally reported to open the store over an hour late. I decided to leave and never heard from the manager or any company representative to apologize. Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. I’d recommend the same for anyone else looking to schedule a fitting here.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
