Getting in, parking and then leaving are almost a rage inducing experience that will make you want to drive to Chattanooga just to stay away from it. That being said, REI will always be my go to outdoor store! Guess I'll just have to allot an extra 15-20 minutes every time I go to ensure that I don't let the inside voices win when dealing with the public...

The store brand is good quality especially for the price as our boys grow out of things each season! Even our dogs benefit from their products! We can confidently recommend the Shokz OpenRun Pro2, JBL Live 770NC headphones (great for kids with special needs as they are noise-canceling), Garmin watches (outlast any other brand for my husband who works and plays outdoors most of his waking hours), REI kid’s Tarn packs (love the features), REI camp chairs (durable and comfortable), REI kid’s waterproof gloves (perfect for long days in the snow), Wolfgang Dog collar, harness and leash (great patterns/colors, washes well and is easy to use)… the list goes on!

I showed Tom my old hikers (a pair of Merrells that I love and wore well until recently--my fault, but happy with one year!). I explained my situation, and he gave a short pause for thought, and said he had two choices for me that he thought would solve my problem. He brought out two pair of Merrell's that were just slightly different. I put them on and they felt like they were custom-made for my feet! They completely solved my problem and I wound up buying both pairs--one pair for work, and one pair for knockaround. My problem was solved in under 10 minutes. I strongly recommend Tom for all your hiking and running needs!
