Staff was friendly. Campground was clean. Mostly longterm campers. Main road to campground is terrible! When we checked in we were told Verizon would not work much and they provided an information sheet for a company that could provide internet for the week. I trusted what I was told and ordered their internet for a week ($14). I never did work and our Verizon was better. Not worth the extra cost.

The woman who drives the white Chevy single cab who works in the front office by the road is rude and hateful we are having a baby shower this evening and needed handsoap for the dispenser in the pavilion we rented and instead of calling and letting the house keeper know she said this is all I have and gave us hand sanitizer to use in the men’s bathroom and we only had one roll of tp so we picked some up from the house before we realized the toilet paper was low she was 4 minutes late and looked like she rolled out of bed and threw anything she could find on she shouldn’t work with the public if she’s like that hopefully she gets hailed accountable for being late and we called at 1 to see about soap before going down there to the office and she still hasn’t turned the phones on we have had a membership here maybe won’t renew since she act like she does the other woman is nice sometimes if another campground around had the amenities I wouldn’t be back here but I don’t live 20 or so minutes away so it’s the closest technically

We were on the lake after Labor Day...great! But, if we had a neighbor on the side our awnings would overlapped. Driving way back to the rest of the park made us thankful for the placement.

We enjoyed our stay. We camped at an site near the Lake and small Beach area. The sites are spacious, full hookups, and pretty quiet at night. We drove around the main camping spots, but we're glad we got a Site at the front. Getting to the Campground initially was harrowing. One road has an 11ft Bridge (but someone cleverly created a dirt side path for RVs to safely pass under). We took TN 20 from the Natchez Trace and it bypassed the 11ft Bridge totally (recommended route). You can also access using TN 240/241 off of 64. Call ahead and ask the Park Ranger for the best route for your RV. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The nearest store is about 15-20 mins to town, but there is a small campstore/snack bar on the facility.
