  Our family had an amazing trip down the Watauga River with our guide Daniel! He was knowledgeable, skilled, and had a great sense of humor. It was our 1st time white water rafting and the level of difficulty was perfect! The check in process was quick and easy, with a short ride to the starting point. We finished where we had parked our car, so no long ride back! You can cool off in the creek or ride the rope swing during a quick rest stop! In addition to me, my husband, and two grown sons, we were able to bring our 5 year old grandson and our pup, who both had a great time time! Definitely recommend!

  As first timers to White water rapids, this was such a fun experience! Our youngest son is Autistic (high functioning), Teresa and Daniel were so patient and made accommodations to our needs to make it such a fun time! Daniel listened to our desires to not get super wet. Once was enough for us, but he's able to go more wild if you prefer. I was thrilled to find out upon arrival that they take pictures for you so you can just enjoy the trip! They took pictures I requested as well :) about half way through the trip, you take a break to stretch your legs. They provided snacks and water. You literally only need to bring yourself in clothes to get wet & shoes! The kids were happy to get ice pops when we returned back to the shop. We cannot wait to come back for another trip on our return to Watauga lake! You guys helped make this one of our most memorable trips together. Thank you!

  Can't say enough good things. If you're looking for a laid-back, fun trip with a friendly atmosphere, this family-run place is it. Hannah and Maverick took our group out on two boats, and they were excellent in both their knowledge of the river and interactions with our kids. If you're looking for real whitewater, this section of the river isn't it. It's a pretty mild ride. But if you're taking out younger kids or people who aren't exactly thrill seekers for a nice ride with beautiful scenery, this is your place. Best prices too. FYI you get snacks during the trip, not a full lunch. They also email you your trip pictures for free, an underrated perk.
