- EMEduardo Martinez2 days ago1.0Douglas was very very rude, Im not from this area and don’t have an REI local to me so I was simply not interested in the memebership, Douglas made it very apparent that he was upset, huffin and puffin threw my recipt on top of my jacket and slid it over to me, I said to him “hey man you dont have to be rude about it” he says to me “okay” and then rolls his eyes, I understand the store has quotas and number to hit but this is not acceptable.

Nobody spoke to me or said hello for the 45 minutes I was in there trying to pick something out. They had plenty of sales people just around talking. Another guy helped someone right beside me and didn’t bother to ask if I needed help. The store itself is fine. The people are lack luster. I’ll just buy my acteryx online from their actual store.

All of the employees were really nice and ready to help, as someone who’s still learning a lot it can be intimating to choose the right gear so it was nice to feel so welcome! This is one of my first experiences at REI and I’ll definitely be back
