- BGB GrantJul 9, 20245.0Great store for fly fishing, as well as providing courses about fly tying. I recently purchased a Trxstle roof top rod box. After letting the purchase sit in my garage for 2 months, I waited until the Friday evening before a week long fishing trip to the Smokies to install the rod box. I discovered the door hatch would not stay closed, the latch being defective. To avoid clouding the issue and possibly void the lifetime warranty, I decided NOT to repair the item myself. I left messages with the fly shop, Dodson Fishing Company in Travelers Rest SC, and also Trestle in Montana, closed until Monday. Andrew at Dodson got right back with me to organize the box swap out. I had to drive over 170 miles to do the swap, but strangely that's only about 70 miles put of the way from where I was going on vacation in the Smokies. The shop owner/manager (?) Andrew stayed over into a family dinner to make sure I was taken care of. Trestle called from Montana on Monday afternoon EST to provide follow up assistance. They affirmed they would support Andrew during the Warranty Return.
