- TATiffany AlexSep 19, 20252.0While the electric bikes themselves are a blast, the customer service was absolutely terrible. We followed the tutorial exactly: hold the power button to turn the bike off, tap to turn it back on. We all made sure to hold the button and saw the screens power down before taking a break. When we returned, 2 out of 3 bikes wouldn’t turn back on. We tried everything from the tutorial, but nothing worked, forcing us to bike them back manually for miles. When we returned, we explained that the batteries couldn’t have died since we had only been riding for less than 30 minutes, yet we were told that was the only reason the bikes would shut off. What the tutorial failed to mention is that there is also a switch on the back of the battery that controls power and it automatically shuts off after some time. They only mention the power button on the speedometer. The bikes had plenty of charge, but without knowing about this switch, we weren’t able to use them properly. I pointed this out and asked for a discount, since 2 out of 3 bikes with full battery went unused due to missing instructions, but they refused and blamed us instead.
