  This is a very well run center but I wanted to pay a special tribute to one of the outstanding professionals at this center, Nancy Clouse. My partner and I took 7 lessons from Nancy over a 4 week period and we were so grateful for her wonderful instruction, patience with our constant mistakes, encouragement when we did things somewhat in the right direction and, of course, her great sense of humor, which added a lot of fun. Nancy varied her instruction for each lesson and taught us some drills that we can practice when we return home. Nancy gave each of us just the right amount of instruction and didn’t overload us with things to work on. Her style is direct and individually focused for our different needs. We loved every second of our time with Nancy and can’t recommend her more highly. There are a lot of playing options at Palmetto Dunes so if you want to be playing a lot of pickleball this is the place to go. If you want a lesson- ask for Nancy!

  I came to Doug Weaver after playing golf for many many years. I finally gave up 5-6 years ago. My son and son in law, grandsons and daughters now play. I thought id give it one more try! Doug is one of the most gifted golf professionals and coaches i have ever had the pleasure to work with. His patience, clarity, sense of humor and coaching expertise has given me renewed courage and confidence to enjoy the game again. After 1 week iwas able to play a couple of rounds better than i ever played when i was much younger. AND best of all he is just a great individual!!

  We had a fantastic experience at Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center. The clinics are extremely well run, and a big part of that is thanks to Patrick Walker and Eric, the tennis director. Patrick is truly one of a kind—his energy and personality make every session both fun and challenging. He has a unique ability to work with players of all skill levels at the same time, even on the same court, without anyone feeling left out. That’s not easy to do, and he makes it look effortless. Eric has clearly built a great program and culture there. Both he and Patrick are engaging, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping players improve. Highly recommend for anyone (juniors and adults) looking to elevate their game while actually enjoying the process.

  Had an awesome time while on vacation and participating in the cardio tennis class. Great energy, and the instructor, Patrick, was fantastic. Christine, at the front desk in the pro shop is AMAZING. Even amid the chaos and craziness of a large crowd, she took the time to help me with my racquet purchase, going above and beyond with a lot of patience and kindness that are unusual at most places. Highly recommend to locals or anyone just in town for a few days. The pickleball programs are also fantastic and well-run.

  There isn't much left to be said about the tennis instruction here that hasn't already been said a few hundred times: professional, practical, personable, excellence. Had lessons with Eric and Patrick and both sessions were excellent. Eric gives and shows you the information you need about your game and gives it to you straight while still being encouraging and fun; Patrick brings amazing energy and brings the best out of a player in a short time. Looking forward to going back on my next trip. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly and efficient front desk coordinators who quickly arranged our lessons and corrected my mistakes with zero hassle. Thanks to everyone at the club for a great experience.
