  A challenge I need to master! Greens were like lightning. Beautiful, well maintained and fun. Be careful when booking. They have a course with the same name near the airport.

  Had an excellent putting lesson with Ed Brill. Professional and great teacher. I left with many improvement techniques for my game. Thank you for a great experience.

  Played 2/11/2026 - pace of play was excellent and the course is beautiful from tee to green but the greens are not in good shape (when compared to other HH courses). Staff is great and very helpful. Range is mats only which for a quality course like this is a little disappointing but I will add that the mats are probably the best I’ve ever seen. All in all, I think they should lower the greens fee until they get the greens restored.

  Played Arthur Hills yesterday. Decent layout. Local knowledge is helpful considering some shots require precise placement of tee balls and second shots. Considering that it is off season and we just had snow (!) this week, conditions were ok. Greens on the front are patchy and inconsistent. Winter rules IMO, so I rolled them since it was necessary especially in the rough. The back nine greens were in better shape. Grass is dormant so the rough is the dead grass look. Half the price of the Sea Pines courses, so they are not cheap but it’s golf at a much better rate. Also they have a range (you hit off of mats) to warm up. Proshop and staff were very nice and helpful. Especially Dave O’Brien in the Proshop. He’s a character and went out of his way to assist me in getting me other tee times and providing information about the other courses. Kudos to Dave.
