  I went I Rei today to look at a new backpack for hiking. I was helped by a lady named mickie. I thought she would measure me and point me at the appropriate back pack but no she helped me Tryon at least 7 different packs and loaded and unloaded weights in each or them this process went on for almost an hr till she finally found me the perfect bag. Thank you for haven’t customer service people like her they are rare these days.

  Amazing customer service. I went in looking some gear information as a newbie to backpacking. Ben took me through the gamut with sizing me for a pack, and letting me try several. Then, we moved to sleeping bags and pads, Finally he showed me some clothing items that were available in tall sizes. All knowing I had no plans of purchasing anything while I was there. Truly exceptional service. Can't thank him enough!!! If you need assistance, ask for Ben!

  Great staff and service here. Was picking up a new hiking backpack for my travels and the staff was willing to help every step of the way to make sure I got what I needed. Be sure to sign up for the lifetime membership!

  We were in REI a couple of weeks ago looking for a pair of hiking boots for myself. We met a really great guy named Jim, he was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in my search. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something in REI to ask for him you certainly won't be disappointed.

  REI is the place to go for camping gear and quality shoes! The staff is welcoming and friendly. Jim Barber assisted me in finding what I needed and helped me add to my wish list. 😊 He was very professional and is an excellent part of REI! I highly recommend the Greenville location!
