I decided to check SmartWool website and found the same jacket for $126.00. I also received a %20 discount for signing up bringing the jacket to $100 with free shipping. I wanted buy the jacket from REI but I was told they do not match prices. I like the REI store because their staff are friendly and super help but I find it unbelievable that they can justify charging one hundred percent markup compared to the manufacturer.

I bought several clothing items for my wife last year and the year before, but most of the sizes/styles bombed except for one or two items. With a genuine smile on her face, Maddie helped me scrub my last two to three year purchase history and, through process of elimination of purchases and returns, she helped me determine which style and size was kept so I could make the purchases with confidence of a solid fit. Thank you to her as this was as much appreciated as it was a customer service win.

Anytime we have any questions he is always there to help us and also tells us a little personal story to go along with it!
