We stayed here the week of Christmas and were pretty disappointed. The campground is extremely hilly, way more than the pictures show. There really isn’t any flat ground anywhere. The lake is at the bottom of a steep hill, so it’s not easily walkable, especially with kids. Our first site was at the bottom of a hill with cars speeding past. The site was very small and felt unsafe. Our front door opened right toward the next site’s sewer hookup, there was no room to sit outside, and the picnic table was so slanted you couldn’t really use it. When we asked for a different site, the woman in the office seemed annoyed and acted like we were being unreasonable for saying it wasn’t a good spot for a family with small kids. The second site she gave us wasn’t much better. The neighbor had multiple motion cameras that tracked us across our entire site, which made us uncomfortable. We went back to the office again and were told there were no other options, even though there were clearly many open sites. My husband finally had to step in and ask for a site at the top of the hill that actually had flat ground and space to move around. We were told we would need to leave a day early because someone else was booked for the last day, which we agreed to. The last site was okay, but the whole experience left a bad impression. This campground might work for some people, but for families with young kids, it’s not a great setup, and the lack of help from staff made it worse.

I am staying in my RV here and at first I wasn't overly impressed with things but after almost a week, I totally love it here. They have bath houses, a laundry room and a park for my grands. I see a pool and a court, not sure what kind but its winter here so not concerned. I am in a back lot away from pretty much everyone and I am loving it. Even though I am nit close to the group I am traveling with, I don't mind. And no sewer hookup for me but they came by today and dumped me for free. Definitely not complaining!

Very hilly campground. Our site was a pull through which is rare. It's not exactly level so we leaned to the driver's side a bit but front to back was level. Shelby and all the office staff were really helpful and nice to deal with. Had some lovely neighbors the first night but when they left, there wasn't another rig that moved in. Lots of great sniffing and walking for the dogs too.

Donna, Desmond and Shelby were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The park has beautiful views of Lake Hartwell, and offer a fire pit and benches overlooking the beach area. The residents were friendly, and very pet friendly. A special hello to Johnny Two Shoes and his Mom! Thank you for a peaceful stay.
