  I’ll start off by saying it’s a good course. It is very difficult which I like. But god bless the greens, the route to each hole, and the tee boxes are not what I expected for being Arnold Palmers signature course. The greens are infested will little sprouts of grass and cannot get an accurate read on any green. Once you get back in the cart to go to the next hole you basically go off roading. It’s half sand and half cement that are totally different heights. Once you reach the tee boxes after that adventure. You have a chance of getting a decent tee box, a rough style tee box, or one that has no grass left and it’s all divots. I would definitely play this course again. I’m not hating on it at all. But if it is gonna say Arnold Palmers signature course I would expect to be something close to what professionals could play on. Don’t read this and automatically not want to golf there. If you like difficulty this course definitely tests you. I personally don’t care about the stuff I was talking about above. But I know some people might and hope this review helps.

  Great coastal course with beautiful marsh views and well-kept greens. Morning rounds can bring out the sand gnats, so be prepared early. I shared more details on the Burly Elephant blog if you’re planning a visit.

  Course is in pretty bad shape given the time of year. Had a fun round but no water at the refill stations is brutal in the heat we had today. Reminded me of the $15 for 9 holes+cart type courses back home. Really could be great. For the price, just make the amenities better. Fill the water jugs, empty the trash, simple things that can be easily taken care of with proper staffing and management. This course is no knock-out-of-the-park, but it wouldn't be hard to make it worth it for the price. It's a fun layout, just do better.

  We have a guy's trip every year.And we come to hilton head, expecting quality service and great courses. This has quite possibly been the worst experience we have had an over ten years of visiting. The course was in subpar shape compared to other courses.We have played despite the fact that we love this layout. Service was beyond subpar, after we left the pro shop. None of the water stations had any water. Even though it was eighty degrees. Maybe consider having one less old crotchety.Guy worried about when people get off on their tea time and maybe have one guy to fill up the water jugs. There was more overflowing trash cans than i've ever seen on any course. And for the record, I hope you don't want a beer because they don't have anybody coming around to serve you despite the massive amount of sight and saying no private coolers. Finally, arrive at the " drive up bar". Which closed with four groups left on the course, including our three groups. Save your money and go anywhere else!
