  Derek is the man. He’s helped me understand the fundamentals of a great golf swing and worked step by step with me in making those changes. I highly recommend!

  I’ve been working with Derek at Golftec, and the improvement in my swing has been incredible. His technical knowledge and ability to explain the “why” behind each adjustment make a huge difference. Derek brings great energy to every session, and the facilities at Golftec are top-notch (you can watch your swing on video and ensure you are making necessary changes)— perfect for analyzing and refining every part of your game. I’ve gained over twenty yards with my seven iron, and my driver consistency has improved significantly. My scores are reflecting the progress, and I can’t wait to carry this confidence into the golf season.

  While it feels like this would have been incredibly useful, the first 20 minutes of instruction and explanation were, but my instructor Alex didn’t bother to help me with my desired club I came in for and asked for. Spent the whole time trying to make me slice the ball w an open face w my 7i I was hitting decently, just a tad low from coming outside a bit w closed face.. Wasted my first appt and swing eval, money down the drain. The intro survey gives an option of instructor type which I choose energetic, while my guy was knowledgeable, he was impatient, didn’t seem like he wanted to be there or even like golf. Look into who you book w as Matt and Derek are supposed to be the best around.

  Derek and the team are great. Worked with Derek and he explains the process very well so that you understand the swing much better. Once you have a firm understanding of the process, your game gets in a much better place!

  I have been taking lessons from Derek at this location for 5 months now. Derek is very knowledgeable about the golf swing and a great communicator when it comes to explaining the movements of the swing. I have been coming over the top for 40+ years and through Derek's teaching and lots of practice I now have a swing path that comes from the inside. I still have lots of work to do but I know that Derek will be with me every step of the way and will have the answers I need to get better. Derek is not looking for a quick fix, he wants to build your swing on a solid foundation which will benefit you for years to come. I would encourage you to give Derek a try if you are willing to work hard on your game and get better. I have been very pleased with my experience with him. Try it, you won't be disappointed!!
