- KHKenneth HatcherMar 18, 20211.0On 2/20/21, I made an appointment for a golf fitting on 3/20/21 with a pre-fitting call on 3/18/21 at 9:00am. I did not ask for the pre-fitting call but Golftec scheduled this. At 9am, on 3/18, I did not receive a call. I waited a few and called the Scott Township location at 9:05 thinking maybe I was supposed to call. I got a voicemail and decided to wait for Patrick to call me. That never happened. At 9:30 I called Golftec headquarters and asked why I had not received a call yet for the appointment they booked. I told the representative that I would like a call within the next half hour since I've already waited a half hour for this call. Still no call by 10am. I understand that personal things can happen but a call to tell me when a good time to talk later would have been professional. I have since cancelled my fitting appointment for 3/20/21. If someone can't make the time to call me for an appointment they booked, then I'm not willing to drive an hour to and give my hard earned money for the actual fitting. I'm not even sure if they'd show for the fitting given that it's now after 1:00 pm and still no phone call. I now have a fitting appointment with another place now. Hopefully I won't be an afterthought there.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
