Our 10-year-old son went to Lakeside Bicycles by himself because the crank on his bike was broken. They took the time to look at the bike and replaced the crank, and now the bike works perfectly again. It means a lot when a local shop treats a kid with patience and respect. Great service, very professional, and a wonderful small business. Highly recommended.

This is a top bike shop and I want to specifically recommend their bike fitting service. I just got a new bike and went through a fit before the bike arrived and then again on the actual bike. I have been riding for a long time but Zak still found some changes that ended up making a real difference. On my first ride the bike felt great. I remember being about four hours in and thinking that it seemed strange that there was nothing I felt like I needed to change, tweak or adjust! Yes, the process costs a few $ but the payoff is a very comfortable, fast-feeling ride and no wasted money on ‘upgrade parts’ that don’t actually fit properly. On top of it all, Lakeside is just a seriously cool bike shop with some amazing classic bikes and memorabilia to enjoy will you wait. Highly recommend

I brought my 10 year old, daily rider, Specialized AWOL in for service. After it was cleaned and thoroughly inspected, a crack in the frame was discovered. I was notified and given options, including warranty replacement (if I was the original owner and could provide proof of purchase). I was, and had copy of my receipt (from a different bike shop). It took a few weeks to process the warranty, but they kept me informed with just the right amount of email and a couple of phone calls. Today I have a new Diverge gravel bike. The whole transaction was exceptional and I appreciate Griffin and his effort to make me whole again! Thank you. If you ride a bike and need help. Go see these folks!

As a prior bike shop employee of 13 years in my past, it takes substantial effort to earn my trust and respect. After completing a new build with Campagnolo Ekar, i was having trouble getting the brakes to feel right, i bled them 2x on my own and “burped” the system multiple times and still had very pumped feeling. I brought the bike in as they are one of the only Campy stores listed in the area. I was greated with kidness and respect, they werent pretentious. The crazy thing was they had it done the next day! Wild. Anywho on a tangent dont use campy ekar, its not as good as sram axs stuff but thats on me. Thanks for getting my ride dialed when i couldnt!

This place used to feel like a mom and pop shop with great people. I was always treated well. But now if I'm not interested in a $5,000 bike, nothing. I called in today to see if they could replace a tube in a large scooter since my son has a flat 14"tire. We went to another shop previously before we knew we needed a replacement tube and they spent 30 mins trying to fix it without the tube. I call Lakeside and they won't even look at it. I know it won't be a $1,000 repair but I'm willing to pay for help. I was instructed to go find a scooter shop... what the heck is a cooter shop?!
