- MJMaggie JonesAug 27, 20255.0I just wanted to share an experience I had today at Golftown Tecumseh. My brother, husband and I came in inquiring about a new driver for my brother. We were greeted by the friendly staff at the desk. We went to the back of the store and my brother was given a driver to practice with. The first employee (sorry didn’t catch his name) was great with his pointers. And a second employee I believe was Rick. He came over and gave my brother great tips on how to improve his form and how to make contact with the ball. We just want to say thank you for the great service and experience especially since we came from a difference golf store down the road and the experience was terrible. Great job Tecumseh team! You will always have our service.
- RLRobert LoeffenAug 7, 20252.0Went in to buy a new pkg set($1349), knew what I wanted and what it came with. Was told they didn't have it in stock but the newer replacement was only $20 more. I brought up the fact that the new set came with one less club. Was told no that's not true, they all come with the same # of clubs, even after I had shown the description on the web site. I asked if they could order it in, I would pay for it now, and then come pick it up. "No, you'll have to order it on line. " Why did i drive 30 minutes one way just to be told that I should have just stayed home and saved the gas? Terrible interaction, I can glean more information from my own research than the "qualified" sales person. I doubt if I will ever return to that store, I'd rather pay more at my local pro shop.

She was truly knowledgeable about the various brands, styles, and helped me zero in on the right putter for me. Golf Town is lucky to have such an experienced staff member to assist because I probably would not have bought a putter at all if it wasn’t for her non-pushy, but experienced understanding of what is going to work the best on the course that led me to a buying decision. Thank you Cindy!
