Getting back into it was difficult and i found my self at a 27 HCP (dropped to a 24 with some hard work and frequent play), Received a Golftec package for a Christmas gift, admittedly i was skeptical seeing the commercials claiming to improve you game by 7 strokes, people i had spoken to felt the same. Steve Rodriguez was my instructor and was excellent, friendly, knowledablge, straight to the point. Evaluated my swing (Wicked slice with my driver and hooking my irons) In the first half hour lesson he had explained and had my shots a lot straighter. Following lessons and practice was just as impressive as the first lesson. As skeptical as i was i am incredibly happy i went to Golftec and had Steve as my instructor. I am currently sitting at a 15.1 HCP! Thanks Steve & Golftec

Instead of wholesale changes, he focused on a few key areas. Instead of having multiple swing thoughts, my focus is now mostly on one or two things...and that made a BIG difference. I am playing with a lot more confidence and with freedom. What also helps is that I can access my lessons anywhere through the app and I am looking at my own swing with his voiceover, instead of someone else's swing. That visual of my own swing+his feedback is a huge help. If this sounds like you, give Steve a try!

I also love the video technology it has with each swing you do (even during your practice). If you need help or just starting out, I recommend doing lessons through golftec!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
