- MNMark NewmanJun 8, 20245.0A golf buddy of mine had been seeing Ryan for years and during this time I noticed his swing getting better and better. So I set up a time to check out the place. Ryan showed me the hitting bays with the cameras, screens and tracking system. He suggested I hit a ball, and of course he caught it on camera, and then went on to spend time highlighting various "opportunities for improvement" in my swing at which point I was sold and signed up for a 6 month session. Through that first session we worked through foundational components of the swing always building on prior lessons. It's easy to watch "how to" videos on YouTube about different golf shots but the real value is having a capable instructor watching what you are actually doing, which invariably is different that what you think you are doing. Ryan gives you that feedback and most importantly helps you over-ride that existing muscle memory to make the changes necessary to improve your swing. Since then I have spent the last three winters working with Ryan and my swing has changed significantly for the better. I look forward to getting back into the hitting bay next winter!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
