  Always great going bowling here but that’s not the problems, I decided to order the “Nachos avalanche” on their menu. It came with chili on it which kept me up for hours on end due to stomach issues, and I’m not talking about something you can use the washroom to get rid of. I had to force puke this filth out of my system so I could feel better again, I do not recommend getting anything to eat from this place as they are good for their bowling not their food.

  had such an amazing experience at AMF and I can’t say enough good things about the customer service we received. Lisa, the manager, was absolutely incredible and so accommodating when there was a mix-up in the system. It showed that I had booked the wrong date for our event, even though I hadn’t — it was clearly a system error. Despite the confusion, Lisa handled everything so calmly and professionally. She reassured me that it was okay and that mistakes happen, and she still made sure our entire event went ahead exactly as planned. Her kindness and willingness to help made the whole situation completely stress-free. The event deal itself is also so worth it. We received two pizzas, French fries, and a pitcher of pop with unlimited refills, which was perfect for our group and made the experience even better. On top of that, when we were almost finished our game and running a little short on time, they even added an extra 15 minutes so we could finish. That level of customer care really stood out. Overall, the service was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Huge thank you to Lisa and the team — I would absolutely recommend booking an event here! 🎳

  Bowling is ok more kid friendly than serious it seems at this location, bigger arcade in the center than most alleys but just lacks in true bowler needs. No Proshop, and a cieling tile fell down when we were there directly onto the lanes. When i was there the ac was only working on half the building making it freezing on one set of lanes we bowled and warm when we went to the other side of the building. Which if you bowl it affects not only body regidity but also the movement of the oil. Either way if your around it stop in have a game its fun but dont expect to actually have a "top end bowling experience". Its just not at this location.

  I would not recommend visiting AMF Bowling on Frederick Street in Kitchener, ON. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The facility appears to have had little to no maintenance or upgrades for several years, and the overall atmosphere feels outdated and uninviting. The arcade area for children is quite small, and several of the machines were not functioning properly. The venue lacks modern screens, lighting, and general upkeep, which contributes to an overall worn and unpleasant environment. Additionally, the customer service was concerning. The receptionist interacted with guests in a discourteous and unprofessional manner, which further impacted the experience. To make matters worse, the pricing is higher compared to other bowling centers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, despite offering fewer amenities and an inferior overall experience. I have noticed some positive reviews describing the facility as “well maintained.” In my opinion, those reviews may be from individuals who have not visited other bowling centers in the Kitchener-Waterloo region or may not have made a fair comparison. I would encourage potential visitors to explore other modern bowling venues in the area before making a decision. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
