Went to go see Distant Cousins on Valentine’s Day. We had a ball! It’s frustrating though, getting a drink because the lines are sooooo long. They do not have enough barmaids behind the bar. Which leads to customers getting mad when you have worked all day and want to relax. To get a drink it takes too long. No waitress walking around to serve you! It’s so hard to get excellent customer service these days! Then they want a big tip!! No!! You have to get up and go get your food which we had chicken and fries, shrimp and fries. The food was warm but good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sports Bar – Hollywood Casino Toledo
I had an outstanding experience at the Sports Bar inside Hollywood Casino Toledo. I ordered the thin‑crust veggie pizza, and it was exceptional. The vegetables were vibrant and fresh, almost like they were picked straight from a garden. The flavors blended beautifully—the sauce wasn’t overpowering, the crust was perfectly crisp, and every bite practically melted in my mouth. Truly one of the best veggie pizzas I’ve had.
I also tried the walleye sandwich with French fries, and it was equally impressive. The fish was tender, flaky, and mild, with no heavy or “fishy” taste—just clean, delicious flavor. The fries were golden, crisp, and seasoned just right. Altogether, a fantastic dish.
The restaurant itself was spotless—one of the cleanest dining areas I’ve seen. And the service was exceptional. Our waitress, Jodi, was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. She answered every question with a smile and made the experience even better.
Overall, a wonderful visit. Excellent food, immaculate environment, and top‑tier service. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re at the casino.

If zero star was an option, I would have given zero star. The cashiers at the “Take 2 grill” are horrible. They seems like they don’t want to be there. First, I was talked down to by the cashier “Dakota”. I was waiting on a line behind a gentleman. Then the gentleman took off from the line. So it was me all by myself in that particular line. Dakota, the cashier asked me if I was a member of owners’ club or something. I asked him what is owners’ club. He said it was something like if I had some form of ownership or something. I believe it’s like a share holder or something. Anyways, I told him no.

Then rudely told me you have to go to the back of the other line like “everyone else “. Keep in mind his tone of voice and intonation was very rude and disrespectful . I had no problem going to the other line, the line that formed “after” I had waited in this line . I had no idea that I was on the wrong line , because I was behind another customer at first, and that was the only line formed at that time.
So I thought I was at the right line. While I was waiting at that line, another line formed at a different lane.
The point here is , “it is not what you say , it is how you say it”. Dakota need to learn how to speak to customers. This is a basic customer service 101. If it wasn’t for the patrons, this casino would go out of business. Who wants to come to a casino , donate their money(lose their money) and be treated in a rude, condescending and disrespectful manner ? No wonder this casino have so many bad reviews. Don’t look like they are doing anything to improve either.
The other cashier Nina also lacking basic customer service skills. She didn’t greet me. She wasn’t helpful in answering my questions about the order I was placing. I asked her if I have to use all my comp all at once or I can use some of it later that day. She didn’t know. Like how do you have cashiers that deals with food comp , but they don’t know answers to basic questions like this? Incompetent! Not only Nina didn’t greet me, but she didn’t say thank you at the end either when she handed the receipt. Hello and thank you is so basic for a customer service, but she couldn’t even do that. Where do you get these people from ? Seriously Hollywood casino. You are a poor excuse for a casino. This bad experience ruined my entire experience there. So it is safe to say that I will not be driving 70 miles there , to a casino that treated me this way.

Friendly staff? Well there's a stick man who works the crap table on the 3.am shift who loves to tell me how 'Horrendous ' i was on the dice as he's scooping up my losing chips..
If I dont understand something about the game, he says. " i tell you the same thing everyday, you're in here 6 days a week"
And as im leaving, he'll say " see you tomorrow " ....This dealer makes my visit to the crap table a miserable experience. Id like to not see this guy when I step up to play craps.

Regular customer here—I usually visit about four times a week and always played the same three machines. On Valentine’s Day, I was disappointed to see that all of them had been removed.
I understand the Ghost game may have been unique and not played as often, but the Kapow machines were my all-time favorite. They offered multiple games, and having three together was a big reason I came in so often.
Losing those machines was very discouraging, and it honestly makes me reconsider how often I’ll return. I hope management considers bringing the Kapow machines back for loyal players who enjoyed them.
