This center is gifted to provide a light and bright place for those interested in the playing of cards and board games in the Senior Center to a thorough workout with weights and walking at the Rec Center. I can't thank the staff and workers enough for the cleaning and caring or our facility. KUDOS TO STRONGSVILLE SENIOR AND RECREATIONAL CENTERS!
- BPBobby PaulMar 26, 20265.0The staff is amazing, from the front desk Laura, Kris’s, Lee, who have been working there for years, thanks so much for all you do, to the maintenance staff, I so appreciate you all for keeping the place so clean and beautiful you all are the best and unsung hero of the place, to the fitness staff Marrissa has done a outstanding job keeping the place tidy and up to date, you enforce the rules to make sure that kids aren’t destroying the place. Your staff follow annd enforces the rules, keeps the place clean and enjoyable,and everyone is safe. Munir and Anas always are mopping or vacuuming, the Byers brothers always are friendly and work hard, josh is really polite sometime he tries telling a joke and he laughs at his own joke, he doesn’t know we aren’t laughing with him but we are actually laughing at him. Great great guy who works hard though, Carter always is there to help you when you need it. Rico, Jack and the girls thanks for everything you do. Jack is a great guy. The place also has updated its looks, It’s great and thanks to the lifeguard also, there is a reason why this is the best rec center in Ohio

Do you offer swimming lessons?
Yes, we offer group classes for ages 15 months to adult. We also have private lessons for 4 years and older. Please check out our program brochure or call for information about private lessons.
Do you offer water exercise classes?
Yes, we offer classes Monday-Thursday in the morning and evening. We have classes in our Activity pool which has a max depth of 4ft and our lap pool which has a max depth of 13 ft.
Do you hire 15 year olds?
Yes, we hire certified lifeguards and water safety instructors that are 15 years old. If you do not yet have these certifications please look for our lifeguarding and water safety instructor classes to get certified first.
