Newly painted and redone! Always check Groupon first for a deal. Arcade with ski ball and machines for kids. Leagues galore. Plenty of lanes and bumpers. A good time for all!

Took my son for a playdate with his friend and had a very unsatisfactory experience. I haven't been bowling in awhile and I didnt realize they're charging per person per game now so 3 games cost us just over $100. They were extremely understaffed on a saturday afternoon with 1 person working the front desk and also trying to manage the food and bar. Another person was cooking and the last person was at the pro shop. Lines were long but the woman was doing the best she could. Although she did her best which I appreciate I was very unsatisfied with how expensive bowling has become and will not be going back.

I had friends in from out of state that wanted to go bowling and we chose to go here because it was the only alley with open lanes. Friends 1-3 wanted to drink a little, so I did not. Friend1 (22, from here) went to get a beer pitcher for us while we started our first game. Friend2 (22, from out of state) wanted a different drink and went to the bar to get it with Friend3 (23, from out of state). Friend 2 and 3 returned to our table frustrated because they refused to serve them. Friend 2 has an out of state vertical ID - in their state the IDs don't expire on birthdays like Ohio's do. It showed her age and it was not expired. The bartender told her that she was unable to serve her due to their policy and that if management were to look at the cameras and see she accepted a vertical ID she would get in trouble. It was slightly annoying but I figured if it was a problem that the cameras could potentially get her in trouble, I would just go get it for her. I walked to the bar and ordered the drink she wanted. The bartender looked at my ID then started ringing it in before asking "You aren't here with the two people that were just up here, are you?" I truthfully replied telling her that I indeed was. She then explained to me that if she gave me this drink I could not be refunded for it. I was confused and asked what she meant and she replied that if I passed the drink around the table she would confiscate the drink and it would be nonrefundable. I said "Okay then don't worry about it." I explained to her that they were friends from out of state and she just explained their "policy" over again to me. I then asked her if it was okay that we had the beer pitcher or if that could now be confiscated as well, to which she replied "No that's okay I'm more lenient with the beer just not with liquor." I have worked in food/beverage industry so I tried to explain to my friends that I somewhat understood. Friend 1 eventually got another pitcher of beer, which was no problem. Then he returned to get a third and final pitcher. All of a sudden the rules/policy changed and she needed to see two IDs of people drinking the pitcher. As I was not drinking, Friend 3 gave their ID that was out of state but horizontal, and then she accepted and refilled the pitcher. This situation was not the end of the world - it was simply annoying and unnecessary. None of us were belligerently drunk, causing scenes, being loud, etc. so it seemed uncalled for that all these steps needed to be taken. Other than this, the lady at the front desk was super sweet and we had fun for the bowling portion of it - I just wish they would not have made it such an issue.

I live up the street but have not been there for years. Lanes are nice and modern, was very busy when we went due to leagues but we were able to get a lane. It was fun.
