When we started my son shot consistantly high 60s low 70s. By August he was stating to consistantly shoot mid 50s. My son enjoys the way he teaches, breaking things down into small bites of information that my son can understand. While he keeps things fun and not feeling like everything should be a chore, he also keeps my son accountable by making sure he follows through with his practice sessions. I would recommend him to anyone for a lesson.

I got married, moved, had few kids and golf fell by the wayside. I picked golf back up over the past three years but really struggled getting back to my old level of play. I could get off the tee fine and my short game was still there, but mid to long irons (and really anything outside of 120 yards) were a struggle. I was pulling everything left and couldn't fix it. I went in to Golftec for a swing analysis and quickly purchased a 5 lesson pack. Francisco has been great to work with and has really turned my iron game around. In my short time working with him this season, i've gone from a 16 to a 12.5 handicap. I'm well on my way back to single digits (just need to find the time to play more). Prior to my experience at Golftec, I had never taken a lesson before in my life. I can definitely say that it was well worth it and would highly recommend.

I was doubtful that I would ever enjoy the sport, but decided to give it a try in hopes of wanting to join my husband on the course someday. He recommend Max Toon (Stonebrook), and I’m happy to say that I’m really, really enjoying it! I never thought I’d look forward to lessons, but I absolutely do! Max is an EXCELLENT instructor. He breaks things down into easy to understand parts, he’s incredibly patient, and extremely positive. I leave every lesson knowing that I’ve learned something and I look forward to practicing before my next lesson. I’m a teacher, so I know a good teacher when I see one. Max is your guy!
- PDPatrick DunphyNov 13, 20255.0I've been a GolfTec student for over 15 years, taking my first lesson when the location opened in North Olmstead. Initially, I was an occasional user, taking a lesson from time to time. While I always found the "tune ups" helpful, I wasn't committed to regular practice between lessons until about three years ago. I started using the Stonebrook location when my coach, Jared, transferred there from Brecksville. Because I liked Jared's teaching style, I "followed him" over even though Stonebrook was farther away. Stonebrook is unique because it has bays where you can actually hit balls into the driving range, in addition to seeing the computer generated ball flight on screen as captured by the ball monitor. My game has improved considerably in all phases, but particularly with driver and longer irons. Instead of usually being "in jail" off the tee, I now usually have a chance to hit a green with my approach shot. I've gone from being happy with a score in the low 90's to expecting to score in the mid 80's. The visual feedback from the GolfTec system, combined with a knowledgeable coach, is invaluable. You can read endless golf magazine articles about proper technique and think you are doing it correctly, but your game doesn't improve. You can hit endless balls at a range, and still you score the same (or worse). Why? Because you really aren't fixing the root causes of the poor technique. With GolfTec, your coach can break down the issue or technique you need to address, then develop a drill to help you capture AND SEE the move in action. Over time, with proper practice, it becomes "muscle memory," and you no longer have to "think" about it. Because GolfTec is a national franchise, you can use other locations when you travel for practice sessions. I do this every year when I'm in Florida for several weeks during the winter. Bottom line, I highly recommend GolfTec in general for game improvement. I specifically recommend Coach Jared and the Stoneridge facility for those within the local area.

Francisco has done an excellent job with swing analysis, coaching recommendations to improve my swing and each session has been supported with video results and suggested practice routines. As an older individual (63) with some physical limitations and really trying to learn how to develop a consistent swing path etc, Francisco understands my goal and has been impactful with developing a more consistent swing which has helped on the course making the game more enjoyable. The GolfTec technology is first rate and I like the quantitative analysis and data which is generated after each swing and measurables which help with improving my game. Have recommended GolfTec to friends and family because I think it is very beneficial to improving your game. Well done.

We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?

Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
