I'm from out of town and wanted to play a quick round with my son. We had a really good time. The guy running the pro shop was great. There were some areas under construction, but nothing intrusive. Best of all, they don't charge an arm and a leg!

I think Google Review should set up a 0 score. I’m writing to express how upset I am about the way my son was treated by one of your employees, Mark, at the Highland Park Golf Course.
My son recently went to the new driving range, and no one told him that drivers weren’t allowed to be used there. When I asked Mark about it afterward, instead of explaining the policy politely, he was extremely rude and even called my son a “smartass.”
A week later, my son went back to the course just to play golf, not to use the range, and Mark met my son and made another sarcastic remark, saying, “Are you happy now, because the issue with the range had since been fixed."
I’m honestly not sure if Mark felt he could get away with bullying a boy who wasn’t accompanied by his parents, since I always drop off and pick him up at the course. Either way, this kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
We’ve always enjoyed the course itself, but this experience has left us extremely disappointed. Management needs to address this immediately; no customer, especially a young golfer, should be treated with such disrespect.

Alright everyone saying this course is the worst course in Ohio is being a little over dramatic. Its fine.
I played the blue course. The fairways aren't the best, they are slightly worse than Metropark courses. The greens are good. The cart path is in rough shape. Its better just to drive on the grass. The layout is pretty cool, I love elevated tee boxes and they have a few. Lots of challenging uphill greens. Theres no turn after 9 holes, which is really wierd and does stink. IDK how they make sure you dont play 18 without paying. The club house is extremely nice, but the bathrooms are terrible. Its like a totally different building. The staff, was pretty nice. The lady running the cash register and the lady running snack bar were extremely nice, and the rangers/starters were friendly. Also, Driving range should be done by October according to staff.
All in all, if you are in town play the course. If not, don't. I work 5 minutes from here, so I will be playing the course again.
