Don’t waste your time, Called to ask for pricing on monthly long term stay and got told 1100-1300 a month. Absolutely ridiculous, price gouging at its finest and the owners should be ashamed. I don’t care what amenities you have they’re all basically useless in the winter time. Other than what laundry house/ shower house if you have one? That’s a mortgage payment in some areas.

We'd never been here before but it was close to an event we were attending so we booked as to be close to said event and as our last trip of the season. WOW, is all I can say. The staff were so overly accommodating, friendly, helpful, and so, so kind. The campground is located in such a beautiful area. Fall colors galore. So many activities during the "on-season" months with so much to do. Great playground for the kids. Snack shop and gift shop were great -- the gift shop even had some really good RV finds. Campground was quiet, well maintained, and CLEAN. We can't wait to go back in the spring/summer. A great way to end the 2025 season.

Easy after hours check in and our spot was easy to find. Very quiet campground, even though there were quite a few campers. Bathrooms and showers were easily accessible. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely wonderful. Great activities for families, including a huge playground area, a ropes course, pot, pot, and multiple pools. The campsites are clean and well designed with all the amenities you could possibly want.
Frequently Asked Questions About Lazy River Campground At Granville
Do you actually have a Lazy River?
Plot twist: We're called Lazy River At Granville, but our "lazy river" is actually a creek that's about as lazy as a caffeinated squirrel during acorn season. It's perfect for wading, setting up lawn chairs, or catching critters (the critters may have opinions about this). When Mother Nature decides to dump a week's worth of rain in one afternoon, it transforms into something that could generously be called "river-ish." Pro tip: Don't name your campground after trendy water features that don't exist yet. We learned this the hard way.
Do you have a pool? When is it open?
We have TWO pools because apparently we're overachievers, plus a sprayground for those who like their water experience with a side of chaos. Both pools are heated (because we're not monsters), but the sprayground embraces the "refreshing" natural temperature. We open around Memorial Day weekend—sometimes earlier if we're feeling ambitious—and close 1-2 weeks after Labor Day, depending on how long we can pretend summer isn't over. Call us for exact dates because even we're not entirely sure sometimes.

What is there to do there?
Oh, you sweet summer child, we have SO many amenities and activities that listing them here would crash the internet. Seriously, we have a TON of stuff to do—we're basically the Swiss Army knife of campgrounds. Download our app for the full spectacular list, because we're living in the future now and everything has an app.
Do you offer monthly/seasonal sites?
Yes! You can book monthly sites faster than you can say "I need to escape civilization," and seasonal applications for 2026 are already open because we're planners like that. Call our office for monthly bookings, or apply for seasonal sites here: https://forms.gle/z46a4DNHmrSd1A9L9
Warning: Seasonal camping may cause addiction to s'mores and an unhealthy attachment to your camp chair.
Do you have year-round availability?
Indeed we do! We're one of the few brave souls in the area who stay open all year because apparently we enjoy a challenge. Whether you want to camp in blazing summer heat or when it's so cold your marshmallows freeze before they hit the fire, we've got you covered. We're either dedicated or slightly unhinged—you decide.
Do you allow pets?
Of course! Your beloved furballs are welcome at all campsites, and some of our 16 cabins have achieved "pet-friendly" status (ask reception which ones passed the pet interview process). Just remember: pets must be supervised at all times (no, they can't babysit each other), you must clean up their "gifts" to the earth, and dog walkers must be at least 14 and capable of not being dragged into the creek by an overly enthusiastic Golden Retriever.
