I have been here a few times and each time the whole GOLFTEC team has been fantastic. Recently I did a club fitting wiht Michael McNutt and had an amazing time during the process. I felt like he knows his stuff and his personality/energy was so supportive during the fitting. I have and will continue to suggest people to try them out for lessons or fittings.

It's Nov '25, I'm in my mid 40's, going through a midlife crisis, buying sports cars, dreaming of running away to a farm...so picking up golf seemed like the natural evolution to the plan of devolution. Rewinding a tick: in January this year, with full Seasonal Affective Disorder coursing through my veins, my phone overheard me ruminating about golf lessons to the wife, facebook sprang to action - displaying ads for Golftec's free swing evaluation. I called, David P answered, I scheduled the appointment, showed up with my brother's 20 year old hand-me-downs, and in one day Dave made me a pro. Not really, but he did sell me on a lesson package and eventually fitted me for my shiny new Mizuno set. It was the same price to buy through him as off the rack, but with zero guessing as to what clubs worked best with my neanderthal swing. I spent the next 6 months going from a complete beginner, to a sim-golf master. I then spent a few months golfing in the wild. Outdoor golf is fine but it has a way of making you question every life decision ever made. I also got chased by a goose...bringing back memories of the devil-goose that attacked me at age 6 while feeding the ducks with my mom. There I was, an overweight, 40-something, hastily trotting away from this feathered terrorist, when my internal monologue spoke, "Dude, you're at least 6x's that things size and you have a metal club...what are you doing?!" Anyway, that goose was scary and I decided to take a break from outdoor golf for a bit. Did the goose thing really happen? Who cares. The point I'm making is that David P has done a great job teaching me to hit a ridiculously small ball, with a ridiculously long and awkward metal stick, down a fairly straight line. Good enough that I signed up for an even longer lesson plan this fall. I don't like money apparently. He's also got a good sense of humor if you're into that sort of thing. "But I don't like being sold on things, will they hassle me to buy a package?" Yeah probably a little, but once you get to know the fleet of guys working there, you'll quickly realize they're all just golf nerds who love the sport, and generally don't care if you bite or not. They'll eat, sleep, and breath golf whether you're there or not. Is golf expensive? Yes. Are lessons and access to golf-sims expensive? Yes. Does it sound like I'm dating David with this review? Also Yes. *I'm not btw, but he's stuck with me until next Nov now...gear up buttercup.* But ask yourself this: how much do you spend on other dumb hobbies...or a daily Starbucks run? Give Dave a call, you won't regret it. Also, they stock a small fridge with complimentary drinks (a fact I stumbled on after my first package ran out...thanks guys) so there's that.

I was only in the area for 3 months. My lessons with Dan were great. Dan was very patient and helped me start fixing 20 years of problems. Already seeing more consistent ball striking. Highly recommend!

My experience at Golftec in Dublin, OH has been excellent. As a well-seasoned golfer I've had lessons from numerous instructors over the years. I can say my coach, David Podrasky, is the best instructor I've ever had. His skill combined with state-of-the-art video got my game back on track. I can highly recommend this facility and instructor!

Frequently Asked Questions About GOLFTEC Dublin

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.

Are your lessons expensive?

Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
