Been to this casino a few times mostly for poker and each time at table playing with homeless people. Like not me judging them on their attire or odor but them talking about literally being homeless. I overheard one guy say to a buddy, that had walked up to table to inform him that he had a spot they all could crash at that night, that he was gonna have to "settle up" before leaving to meet them. Felt super odd compared to most people who would just say they have to "cash out". Crazily enough these homeless folks always do really well at the tables. Although it was different people each of the 5 or 6 times I played there this emerged as a repeating pattern, after the 1st 2 times I was like 2 sessions identical but with different people was odd, so each time back was with sharper focus on exactly what is happening. When a pattern remains constant in 6 visits spread out over months it's safe to say there is a secondary system operating behind the scenes. Maybe Hollywood Columbus favors the homeless as a way to give back to the community and the poor may rejoice in knowing they have a place to get quick riches or maybe it's more nefarious, maybe they pay players to sit at tables and extract more money from players and gamblers who visit, idk, either way they deserve to be investigated and further regulated. Safe to say I will take my gambling elsewhere, I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experienced the same pattern.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The RTP was terrible. I wasn’t even able to enjoy my time gambling with how much money the casino was taking. I hit a bonus on a slot machine and only got a $7 win off of a $1 bet. That should be illegal. The bathrooms were sticky and terrible. All the chips were sticky. It was a hassle to get my free play to work. I don’t recommend the “Penn Play” it was difficult to use and it took me over a hour for me to use the $60 dollars of free play I was awarded. It seemed like half the ATMs were out of order along with the kiosk to cash out or slips.

I know exactly what reviewer Paul was referring to in his post. There is a regular group that occupies the Pai Gow table every single night, and it has made it nearly impossible for others to play. I completely understand that for some regulars, the casino may be their primary source of entertainment, especially if they are retired. However, my friends, coworkers, and I come to the casino after work hoping to enjoy a few hours of Pai Gow, and we almost never get the opportunity to play. The same small group monopolizes the only table until early morning. On one occasion, when we tried to wait for a seat, one of the regular players told us they would be holding the table for the next eight hours and that we should get lost because they can’t win if others were waiting. As if we were the reason they get bad hands. The tone was extremely rude and came across as though they owned the place. It was honestly very off-putting. Despite being a regular patron of Hollywood Casino, I have only been able to play Pai Gow once — and that was because the regular group had been removed earlier due to an altercation. It shouldn’t require a conflict or someone getting kicked out for other guests to have a chance to play. This situation has clearly been ongoing for some time, and it has significantly impacted the overall player experience. It also affects the casino’s reputation when guests feel unwelcome or when access to certain table games is so limited. Opening a second Pai Gow table during peak hours or enforcing fair seat rotation policies would go a long way toward resolving this issue. I truly enjoy coming to Hollywood Casino and want to continue supporting it, but I hope management takes this concern seriously and implements a solution that ensures fair access for all guests.

I’m writing this as a regular customer who genuinely enjoys coming here, but the situation with the Pai Gow table has become extremely frustrating. Every night from around 9pm–4am, it’s the same 6–7 players occupying the only open Pai Gow table. They frequently get up for 20–30 minutes at a time but leave their belongings behind to “hold” their seats, preventing anyone else from playing. On top of that, they rudely tell others to go away and not to wait for a seat because they believe it’s “bad luck” to have people standing around. It creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. What’s even more disappointing is that the casino refuses to open a second Pai Gow table, despite often having 10+ people who want to play and can’t get a seat. Meanwhile, there are multiple dealers standing at empty blackjack or Three Card Poker tables with no players, and plenty of unused table space. It’s hard to understand why a second table can’t be opened when there is clearly consistent demand. I personally visit at least 5 times a week, and during that time I’ve only been able to play once or twice because the same group monopolizes the single table. My group of 6–10 friends often comes with me, and we’re forced to just stand and watch. Watching other people play for hours isn’t entertainment. We enjoy coming here, but if this continues, we may start going to other casinos where customers actually get the opportunity to play. Hopefully management can address this by enforcing seat policies and opening a second table when demand is clearly there.

Before I get into my very bad experience. I would like to let all truck drivers know if you are disable, or its hard for you to walk. Avoid this casino by all means second. It costs $25 to park here. They have no shuttles to take you to and from the casino. And it is a long walk.... This was my first and last time ever coming here. I stood in line for thirty minutes.Trying to get a players card just to find out that I was in the wrong line.So i just left. After grabbing me a slice of terrible pizza. They do not have any accommodations for disable or handicap truck drives i have been to a lot of casinos. And I have never had to pay any money to park. I had $500 to take into that casino to play and enjoy myself. Once, I found out that I had to pay $25. I walk inside, bought me a slice of nasty pizza and walk back to my truck. Is cheaper to park at a truck stop? I just did not see the logic of me paying $25 to park, then go inside. And spend $500 That was ludicrous to me. The best thing that I could say about this situation.I saved five hundred dollars.
