  I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Golftec and encourage anyone to sign up for a swing evaluation and instruction. My coach Jose has not only elevated my game, but has become a good friend. Outside of the basics, Jose understands that every swing is unique and me has helped tremendously with “my swing”. Whether you are a beginner, needing some fundamentals, or a seasoned golfer looking to take your game to a higher level; Golftec is for you!! Sign up for a swing evaluation; strongly consider a lesson plan; and get properly fit for clubs. You won’t be disappointed and your enjoyment of this game will increase.

  I have been working with Jose the past two seasons. We have accomplished a lot. I have learned so much about my swing thanks to Jose's tips and teachings. Especially swinging inside to out and tilt over turn. I have reduced slices and pulls. Jose helped me get properly fitted for Driver, irons and putter. He is tough on me but he's always encouraging me!

  In working with Mac, his instructions and understanding of Golf Tech screens/methods were invaluable to my golf game. I look forward to playing this season after his lessons. Because of the lessons I feel that my game will be much more consistent to my liking.

  Today completes my first year of lessons with Jose. As I look back and review my progression, my swing from my first month is unrecognizable in my swing today. Jose’s approach to systematically build my swing from the ground up was exactly what I needed. I had an incredibly fast backswing that went straight into my downswing with zero lag. The first thing Jose did was show me the importance of taking a full backswing. I told him that I can’t do that. I am not flexible enough. I am afraid that I will lose complete control on my downswing. It took several lessons of Jose pushing me and me practicing to finally make a full backswing. Then came the next phase of fixing my sway away from the target, followed by my path, and then working a lot on tempo to create lag. Jose is an excellent teacher who can explain the complexity of the golf swing and ball flight in a way that is easy to understand. He provides the necessary drills to train your body to learn each building block as you learn the golf swing. He gives great feedback and positive reinforcement. He will always point out the good things in the swing and then show what caused the ball to fly the way it did. He doesn’t let his students get down on themselves because his style is to emphasize what you are doing right and what you need to work on to improve. Jose is also an excellent club fitter. Once he felt my swing was consistent enough, we scheduled an iron fitting. He recommended irons to help my current ability, but also factored in potential for improvement so I can get several years use from the clubs. Lessons then moved forward to driver and fairway woods where he also fitted me for clubs. We then had several putting and short game lessons where I got fitted for a new putter and wedges. I am extremely excited for my 2nd year of lessons that will encompass at least 3 playing lessons. I am confident with Joes’s instruction to get my handicap under 18 which will be a far cry from 35 where it was in June 2025. As my confidence grows, I will begin competing tournaments. I can’t thank Jose enough for his patience and pushing me outside my comfort zone so I don’t give up and say that I can’t do that. He shows me that I can. I also want to thank GolfTec for their excellent technology that when paired with Jose’s instruction, you will improve if you are willing to put in the effort. Lastly, I would be negligent in my review if I did not mention what a great person Jose is. He truly cares about his students. He gets to know you on a personal level as someone who is a close friend or family. He gets just as excited as his students as milestones are achieved. I truly love playing golf and the journey to get better with Jose. If you are willing to put in the work, Jose will make you better. He is an excellent coach and fantastic person.

  My wife gifted me a series of lessons with Golftec Cleveland East. I was fortunate to work with Jose and had a great experience. I have been golfing for a long time and over the years had developed multiple bad habits. Jose was able to explain his key swing concepts without jargon, using the video equipment to show me exactly what he was describing. He gave me simple but helpful drills that emphasized the right movements. By the time we were done, I was much more consistent with good contact, more distance and better ball flight. I had easy effective swing keys to recall and fall back on when things started to go haywire. The proof is in the results - reduced handicap and within several weeks of finishing my lessons I had my first hole in one!
