  My wife gifted me a series of lessons with Golftec Cleveland East. I was fortunate to work with Jose and had a great experience. I have been golfing for a long time and over the years had developed multiple bad habits. Jose was able to explain his key swing concepts without jargon, using the video equipment to show me exactly what he was describing. He gave me simple but helpful drills that emphasized the right movements. By the time we were done, I was much more consistent with good contact, more distance and better ball flight. I had easy effective swing keys to recall and fall back on when things started to go haywire. The proof is in the results - reduced handicap and within several weeks of finishing my lessons I had my first hole in one!

  Over the time I have taken lessons from Brad Blaine we have worked on specific goals. We began with setup and from there we began working to shall out my swing. Now we are working to make my turns bigger and to maintain a right to left ball flight starting right and end ending center. It has been a journey, but I can see my progress and I have always been able to play and incorporate the instruction I am receiving. The video of my swing during lessons is priceless. I love the drills and suggestions as well as the comparisons to professional golfers. Brad is patient and dedicated to my improvement as a golfer. Last season I was able to break 80 twice and he was just as happy, if not happier, than I was. We have set goals for this season and I look forward to my lessons. I work between lessons to prepare to incorporate the concepts we discuss. Brad always makes me feel like I can attain my goals even when I struggle. It has not been a smooth road, but it has been productive. My handicap was an 18 at the start of last season and it is now a 13.5. I am looking forward to lowering it more this season and growing as a golfer even more under Brad's positive instruction. GolfTec is a great place to improve your golf swing and your golf game.

  The golf instructor will get 5 stars. The people I have spoken with at the Cleveland East location have been very helpful and I’d recommend them as instructors! They are not the cheapest, you can invest a good amount of $ and supposedly the technology they are supposed to have justify the cost… BUT the launch monitors are old, dated and I’m the first to admit I’m not a good golfer but I play enough and score well enough to know that if I hit 40+ balls with my 7 iron…. On more than one occasion that the equipment is only able to process maybe 3 or 4 balls. The rest there is no data, no ball flight NOTHING but an error that say it was unable to process. My launch angle is low but it’s not that low to only register 3 or 4 balls out of 40+. I’d like to see my ball flight, direction and speed etc. the recording of my swing, the feedback and the instruction from the coach is great. But the overall experience of actually seeing the feedback from the monitor is horrible. Everywhere else I’ve ever played using simulators and swing tracking almost every single ball was able to give me feedback.

  Dad raved about Jose for years, and hard to argue with the results: handicap dropped, back-to-back senior club championships. My own game had fallen apart (8 to 14 handicap). Prior pros always helped with quick fixes that worked, but I decided to try Jose in the off season and was impressed. He uncovered root issues I didn't even know I had and explained them in a way that actually clicked. Signed up for more. Looking forward to playing again.
