Bought a lesson package with Kirk along with some clubs. Kirk is a great down to earth dude and was a joy to work with. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I am a better golfer because of Kirk.

Where do I even start? I just wrapped up a 5-lesson package with Kirk at Golf Tech, and I’m legitimately worried my clubs are now in love with me. My swing used to look like a malfunctioning windshield wiper in a hurricane; now it feels like poetry written by a swan that also happens to bench-press Buicks. I’ve never been more confident stepping up to a ball—honestly, I half-expect the hole to just surrender and wave me in.
But let’s talk about the man, the myth, the walking PGA Tour poster: Kirk. The dude has the patience of a saint who moonlights as a kindergarten teacher for caffeinated squirrels. No matter how many times I chunked it, topped it, or accidentally invented a new shot called “the angry lawnmower,” Kirk just smiled that megawatt smile, adjusted my grip like he was tuning a Stradivarius, and somehow made me believe I wasn’t a lost cause.
And yes, I’m legally required to mention: Kirk is stupidly handsome. Like, “should be illegal to look that good while holding a 7-iron” handsome. I spent half the lessons trying to focus on my backswing and the other half wondering if his hair has its own agent. It’s distracting in the best possible way—motivational eye candy with a side of world-class coaching.
If you want to actually get better at golf (and secretly hope your instructor looks like he just stepped off a cologne billboard), book Kirk immediately. Tell him I sent you. I need him to keep that ego in check before he starts charging extra for the view.
10/10. Would slice, duff, and blush again. Thanks, Kirk—you beautiful swing wizard. 🏌️♂️❤️

This season has been an incredible journey for my son, thanks to Coach Josh at GolfTEC Buffalo. Back in May of 2025, he had a handicap of 20.6, and as of today, August of 2025, he’s down to a 9.7. The improvement is remarkable, and even more important is how much his love for the game has grown along the way. One of the proudest results of this progress is that he earned a spot on his varsity high school golf team as a freshman.
Coach Josh has been absolutely wonderful—always supportive, patient, and dedicated to helping him in every possible way to improve his swing, his confidence, and his overall approach to the game. He’s not just teaching golf; he’s building a passion for it.
The entire GolfTEC Buffalo team has also been fantastic. Everyone there creates such a positive and welcoming environment, and it’s clear they truly care about the success of their students. The demand for their coaching has been so strong that they’ve even added another PGA professional to the staff, which says a lot about the quality and reputation they’ve built.
If you’re looking for a place that will not only improve your game but also make you excited to keep playing, I can’t recommend GolfTEC Buffalo enough.

This past Christmas I really wanted some golf lessons, fast forward a few weeks after and that’s when I met Kirk Whitmore. From lesson 1-now (17 lessons in) he has carefully gone over each step of my now swing and the improvement is unbelievable. I went in with a goal in mind and was able to help me exceed that by several strokes so far. I look forward to the continued progress!!
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement.
