  I found this academy on Google and decided to just walk in to ask about training and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They invited me to join their open mat and promotion day, which made the experience even more special. The gym itself is super clean and beautifully decorated, which really adds to the overall vibe. It felt very comfortable and inviting, especially as someone visiting from out of town. I also love that they offer yoga classes that’s such a great addition. The rolls were amazing. I had the chance to roll with a black belt who was extremely technical and helpful, which made it such a great learning experience. Overall, I had a really positive experience and will definitely be coming back whenever I’m visiting Kingston . Highly recommend!

  I had the pleasure of dropping in here while visiting Kingston. The vibes are great. Everyone was incredibly friendly, from initial interaction over email/phone to walking in the front door. They let me borrow a gi for training and gave me a tour of their well appointed and very clean facility. I appreciate the considerable attention paid to having a hygienic environment, including some things I've never seen before (a foot washing station before stepping on the mat -- next level, and great idea). The instruction from Professor Virge was really detailed and all the training partners were friendly and provided some fun sparring rounds. Looking forward to my next visit and will be trying to get my local friend to check it out :) Thanks for the hospitality!

  I took my 4 year old to her first Jiu Jitsu class here and she loved it. The class was fun, well organized, and great for little kids. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I want her to feel confident and empowered and I'm looking forward to our next class.

  I love training at Ascended! The instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable, the community is diverse, supportive and kind. When I come to class I feel motivated and like this is a perfect place to grow. I am new to BJJ and feel so welcomed as I start this new sport. For anyone in the area looking to train this is a top tier choice!
