Today I had a very different experience when ELLEN at the register was obviously annoyed that I wanted to know how much each item was with the sale price (I had a total of four items so it should have not have been a burden). She was incredibly condescending and nasty, and then accused me of using someone else's phone number for my rewards! Which she announced, LOUDLY. I'm am REI coop member and credit card holder (both of which I used and confirmed with my drivers license). After purchase she didn't thank me or even hand me the items I purchased. If this is the way REI treats loyal customers now, well, that's very disappointing. Ruined the entire experience.
