I have improved tremendously since the beginning of my lessons. I really enjoy the video equipment and having the ability to judge my progress statistically. The whole operation is smoothly run and the personnel are friendly. I am very pleased with GolfTec.

- SBSteve BellAug 30, 20181.0I enjoyed working with Greg and spent some serious $ on lessons in 2016-17 when Jay was the owner, before Corporate bought it back. Since Corporate brought this location back, i have visited several times with the intention of restarting Golf lessons. But on each occasion, Rich, the Corporate-assigned location manager has been far less than personable - to the point of being flat-out rude. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. There are many good alternatives available in Reno for Golf lessons, including if you want to train using the Trackman system, which is superior to GolfTec's in-house technology. Also, as everyone knows because GolfTec is so huge, they are trying to training everyone to have a PGA player's swing but that does not work. They have to do it so their staff nationwide, can all be trained the same, and replaceable.

They know their stuff and are genuinely interested in your improvement. I am very pleased with my lessons and progress and give them my highest recommendation.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.

Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
