  My husband and I were on our way to Tombstone AZ from our home in Eugene OR when our truck started giving us issues. We limped our way into Vegas and being Good Sam members we chose The Hitchin Post out of our Good Sam book. Let me tell you the staff at the RV park both day and night crews were amazing! All staff was very understanding about our situation and helped us out tremendously. They went above and beyond their normal everyday jobs to make my husband and I feel less stressed. We ended up being stuck in Vegas for almost 3 weeks and stayed at The Hitchin Post for 90% of our time. The RV park is amazing it has an amazing pool, awesome hot/clean showers and restrooms, there's 2 on site dog runs and even a warm water dog wash which helped us keep our 2 Heelers happy also for dog people and people with kids there's a really nice park right across the main road, the have an on site laundry facility with plenty of washers and dryers, plus the park has full hookups with cable,water, sewer and even wifi, another things that my husband and I loved is the RV park is gated and you have to have a key card or garage door opener to even get in. We felt very secure here because of that, There's a few stores with in walking distance, also there's an air force base about 2 miles away from the RV park so all day long during the week you get a pretty awesome show of the fighter planes flying over the park while practicing.. We will definitely stay at the Hitchin Post again if we ever come back through.

  Everything there is Wonderful with the exception of the Restaurant not being open. I was made privy to the reason behind it. This type of situation ALWAYS boils down to bad management. The GM should not have allowed it to go on for so long! With the right Management and trained Bartenders it would most certainly would make a Hugh attraction for The Hitching Post RV Park! I would also suggest getting rid of the State Gaming Machines. You don't need them since small casinos are within walking distance. All comments above are just my personal opinions.   Gated access to RV park. Space's are narrow but accessible with 40ft camper. Center median makes getting into park for RV's a one-way only issue. Pool and bath/ laundry area clean and well kept.

  I stayed at the RV park. It was okay, nice pool, bathrooms. And the laundry was huge.. Too bad. The restaurant wasn't open next door I would have been there often. JJ in the front office was fantastic.
