We stayed at The Palazzo at The Venetian for one night, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve had in Las Vegas.
While checking out the minibar, we briefly picked up a few items to see what they were and immediately put them back. Somehow, their ridiculous “sensor” system registered this as a purchase and added minibar charges to our checkout receipt.
When we confronted the front desk, the staff member brushed us off and claimed the system would later “detect” that the items were returned, saying the charge would automatically drop. We tried to make sure it was actually removed, but he became condescending and dismissive, insisting there was “nothing else he could do.”
It’s an absolute scam. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Vegas, and this was by far the worst experience — from the minibar setup to the terrible customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs; there are plenty of other hotels on the Strip that treat their guests with respect.

The Venetian is a beautiful, luxurious place with so much to offer. We are not regulars in Vegas and don't plan to go back so it was a one and done kind of trip. We stayed at the Venetian because of the convenient access to the Sphere where we watched the Eagles concert. Our room was wonderful. The window looked out on the Sphere and it was fun to watch. We had 4 adults and our suite was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the sunken living room made it easy for us all to hang out together. The bathtub and the robes were a wonderful treat. Eating at the Venetian was a good experience as there are so many choices and they were all good. The outdoor bar and the pools offered a relaxing atmosphere with attentive servers. The 4 star is a reflection of the price, the customer service at the concierge desk down in the lobby and one item at the pools. The prices were high for everything, the room rate, the food, the pool chairs, expensive all around. The concierge was not really interested in helping me when I had a question about airport transportation. They seemed very interested in the people that were obvious regulars, which we were not. The chairs poolside are all reserved for purchase. I would have liked it if there were more options for those of us that did not want to pay for chairs by the pool. I feel that the room rate should be enough to get me a chair in the sun next to the pool without an additional cost. We are not gamblers so I can not speak to anything about that aspect of the Venetian. If we ever do come back I think I would be more of a Freemont Street kind of gal.

I spent $5,000+ renting some of their best rooms over the weekend including Grand King with pool table etc. I loved the rooms and the location. I put my champagne in their fridge and it bumped three drink sensors. They incorrectly charged me for the drinks and refused to come to the room to count their inventory. After multiple discussions with their front desk they would credit two but not all three drinks. They maintained that we broke the seal of a Modelo, which is a complete lie. We brought our own wine and champagne. What’s funny is I’ll still be disputing the charge with American Express and they will lose a customer who spends real $ over what prob cost them less than $3 in beer. Also, check in was over 3+ hours on the top Prestige floor because they gave away my assigned rooms. Sadly Summer who was extraordinary is surrounded by mediocrity.

Our trip was 3 nights and we had a party of 4 celebrating our 60th birthdays. We were extremely disappointed with the following:
1. Nothing special was done for us to commemorate the birthday celebrations.
2. When booking, (10/16-10/19/25) we specifically asked for rooms near each other and situated on a high floor since we needed to have quiet spaces to get rest. We booked 2 newly renovated queen suites.
3. When we checked in at 5pm, our second suite was not ready! We had to wait over 3 hours to access the second suite!
4. The rooms were too far apart - so the next day we asked for closer rooms. This took another 3.5 hours and when we went to move in we had a king suite instructor of a 2 queen suite!
5. We once again asked to be moved closer and in 2 queen suites!! That was our l original booking, after-all. The agent at the front desk had us wait 4 hours and we were asked to move from the 25th to the 3rd floor. To make us feel better, we were given one grand suite. It was not as grand as we expected. The rooms while finally closer to each other were not newly renovated and the noise level was not acceptable.
The grand suite didn’t have trash cans or shower caps! After asking numerous times we found a different option.
We stayed for two nights and while the manager waived the resort fees and comped some of the meals, we felt more should have been done to offset the inconvenience our group felt during this short trip.
We would like to give The Venetian/ Pallazo another chance to change this experience to one that is more enjoyable and pleasant. Please let us know how you can help us. We would be open to visiting Las Vegas between December and February if you can provide an offer that is lucrative.

The Venetian Quarter in Las Vegas is pure magic — a little piece of Italy in the middle of the desert! 🇮🇹✨
Walking through this place feels surreal: blue skies painted on the ceiling, romantic gondolas gliding along turquoise canals, and charming bridges that look straight out of Venice. The attention to detail is incredible — from the architecture to the music echoing through the corridors, everything is designed to make you forget you’re in Nevada.
You can take a gondola ride, enjoy gelato by the canal, explore beautiful boutiques, or dine at one of the amazing Italian restaurants inside. The atmosphere is romantic, elegant, and surprisingly peaceful compared to the busy Strip just outside.
It’s perfect for couples, photographers, and anyone who loves art, architecture, and that magical “La Dolce Vita” feeling. ❤️
If you’re visiting Las Vegas, the Venetian Quarter is an absolute must-see — it’s like taking a mini vacation to Italy without ever leaving the city!
