As a first-time customer, I expected at least a basic explanation of how things work, but no one was willing to provide any guidance. The overall attitude at the front counter was cold and unnecessarily rude, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start.
To be fair, the staff member inside the range was noticeably more polite and professional than those at the counter. However, that was not enough to offset the poor service I received upfront.
I also found the pricing to be misleading, and I did not feel properly advised or informed about my options.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I do not plan to return!
I completed my CCW class with Casey this past weekend. The class was super informative, laid back, and fun. I appreciated that one of the first rules was NO POLITICS. I wasn't inundated with left or right-- just 2a. I was able to ask questions and get honest feedback. Most importantly, as someone with very little experience, I appreciated how helpful the entire staff was and I was never made to feel dumb or less than. Even during the shooting portion, I had some reservations and questions, and Casey took the time to show me how to be more confident in the handling and firing of my weapon. This class came highly recommended to me by a friend, and I will highly recommend it to the next person.

100/10 would recommend no matter what your skill level.
I arrived early to The Range 702 and the instructors were there to greet us at the door. Nick Best, as huge and imposing as he is, was a very cool and down to Earth individual who started the class with a power point presentation of informative knowledge. Nick made sure that the questions asked had answers that we could understand. I’m positive he will make a great instructor one day.
Instructor Jeffery Basinga took over right after him. Braddah Jeffery had great charisma and enthusiasm- he was sharp and quick and kept it light but slowed it down if he didn’t get the answers he was looking for from us and made sure that the gravity of the serious topics he covered were felt. The reverence he has when it comes to knowledge of firearms, adherence to the law, and the information needed to navigate it all as responsible firearm owners, demands respect.
Overall, the experience and knowledge imparted onto me made me feel like these gentlemen were really passionate about their mission and it was a pleasure to attend their class at The Range 702. They have my business and I look forward to returning again soon.
Female posting. :) I signed up for one on one training because I've been wanting to work on my knowledge and skills. I plan on getting my CCW permit so I believe with that comes a responsibility to keep up on training. Oscar worked with me and he was fantastic. He made me feel comfortable and not rushed. From walking in to walking out, the whole experience was easy and not intimidating. Ladies, don't hesitate to go in and get some training and consider a CCW permit. Gun safety = personal safety. If you book it, you can request Oscar in the notes/comment section.

I signed up for The Range 702’s CCW renewal class mostly out of convenience and affordability. I also was curious as they appear to have a big social media presence.
The CCW renewal class started promptly and was well organized. All directions were clearly laid out in the confirmation email and follow-up emails, including parking across the street in the Hustler parking lot. The renewal course runs four hours and includes about three breaks, each roughly 10–15 minutes, which made the pacing reasonable and manageable.
Our initial instructor was Nick B, who stepped in to cover while Jeffrey B arrived a bit late unexpectedly. Nick was great, calm, approachable, and clearly experienced. He has that “gentle giant” presence, which is especially impressive considering he’s competed in Ironman more than once. Jeffrey appeared extremely knowledgeable, not just about firearms and training, but also the retail side of the business, which gave the whole operation a very competent, professional feel.
What stood out to me most is that The Range 702 really does appear to be a one-stop shop. From the brochures and information available, they offer everything from basic firearm instruction to CCW courses, one-on-one training, home defense classes, gunsmithing, and even custom holsters for hard-to-fit firearms like certain micros. And none of it appeared outrageously priced.
The CCW class itself had its own dedicated shooting range, separate from the public range, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel focused and efficient. Honestly, I was afraid the overall vibe would be super performative, but I was surprised in that the staff and attendees were welcoming with no ego & no weird energy (iyk yk).
I also really liked seeing female representation among the staff. Firearms spaces are still often male-dominated, and it was refreshing to see clear balance and inclusion here. They also offer opportunities for kids and teens, which for me, speaks to their emphasis on safety and education.
Overall, my experience with The Range 702 exceeded my expectations. What I initially assumed might be all show turned out to be a solid, well-run operation with knowledgeable instructors, a wide range of services, and a chill environment. I’d absolutely recommend them, especially for CCW training.
